Run-down and damp room in a motel next to dive bar with slot machines
Pros:

Self-checkout late at night worked well.

Cons:

This is a motel, not hotel. Room was run down and damp. Can't even say it was good value for money as there are probably better hotels at this price range and vicinity to the airport.

Great location but only very basic accommodation
Pros:

Great location. All staff were very helpful and pleasant. It was handy to be able to have meals on site in the Beer Garden

Cons:

Rooms need some serious renovations and a good deep clean. Very basic facilities. Door to bathroom would not shut, air con is very old and on it's last legs. Rooms smell stale.

Pros:

The apartment was ideal for what we needed. Location is perfect as I do not drive. if you have toddlers and teens. Close to amenities, park, beach front, Tidal pool.

I think currently for the room pricing some fixing up needs doing to the rooms. Wouldn’t take much.
Pros:

Great location for what I needed, I’ve stayed there often on work trips. Parking is easy, great restaurant and friendly staff.

Cons:

The room prices have gone up and the room I had this time smelled like a smoker had been in there and the mattress could do with replacing

Only tolerated because of exhaustion!
Cons:

On Tuesday May 27 my booked flight was cancelled so I needed accomodation.

On arrival to unit 14 it was obvious it hadnt been checked/cleaned since the previous occupants.

My first view on opening the door was someones wet towel hanging from a kitchen cupboard door, another wet towel on top of a slept in double bed.
The bathroom floor was wet, an empty cup in the bathroom, and coffee/tea spills on the unwiped bench.

I had endured a long day and wasnt sure where else to look for accomodation at that time of night, so, assuming the still made single bed hadnt been slept in I slept in that.    (even that bed had discarded clothing tags and other rubbish which I had to clear before using.)

There was a room key on the kitchen shelf, which confirmed to me that the last person in the room was not staff!
