A hotel that has nobody to help you when something goes wrong in a room is not fit for purpose.
Pros:

Breakfast was ok and morning receptionist was very apologetic.

Cons:

Radiator in room would not turn off and was leaking. The carpet was soaking wet and my bag and contents got wet before I noticed. Even with the window opened the heat was unbearable. I phoned reception and was told no other rooms were available and that nobody in maintenance is available at night to do something about the issue.
Really deplorable, I only stayed there because I was tired, and ended up getting no sleep at all.

Good overnight work stay but chilly dining room
Pros:

We stayed here for a 1 night work stay. The room was large and clean, nice newly refurbed bathroom with a great shower. A large comfy bed and had everything needed for a good 1 night stay. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food at dinner and the buffet breakfast was very good. Really nice setting just next door to the Battle of Bannockburn visitor centre and park.

Cons:

The only gripe would be the dining room was quite chilly and the towels in the room were a bit on the small side. We would definitely return.

Great Valentine Break
Pros:

Just back from The King Robert Hotel it was a break to celebrate my wife's birthday on Valentine Day. We had a two night break which took in the Boyzone and Westlife tribute night dinner caberet event . What a great memorable time we had what a great professional show.
This is the third time in recent years we have visited this hotel and it was the same standard as usual, great friendly staff, nice hot food, great size and well appointed room. Summing up we would recommend anyone looking for a budget hotel in a very convenient location , with regular city link bus service outside the hotel for Glasgow ,Perth ,and Dundee which we used on our visit.
