Great place to stay and have a savoury breakfast before trekking
Pros:

If you choose Nevis Bank Inn be sure to include breakfast! Tina in charge of breakfast is a pure gem and made our stay go from a 2 star to 4 star experience. Her good mood and energy, attention to details and memory is rare and she really does make a difference- everyone in the dining area ate and departed with a smile!
If you need wifi stay out of room 23. The rooms were clean and spacious but due to work in progress the way to the room was less enjoyable. Would we return - yes definitely but only if Tina is there

Nice comfortable hotel. Great Breakfast and pleasant friendly staff. Private car parking included.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Secure parking on site. Nicely furnished room. Food was good and breakfast excellent.

Cons:

Building work ongoing with scaffold and work vans. No issue for us but could have restricted on-site parking if the hotel was busy. Would have been nice to have been informed.
Lovely room but no view.

Pros:

The staff named Dacos (I’m not sure if that’s how his name is spelt) was extremely kind to warmly welcome me to the inn at midnight. He microwaved and served me their staff supper when I told him I didn’t have a chance to grab dinner and all the food outlets were closed at that point. I was really touched by his kind act. Room was also really clean and appliances were very new. Totally recommend!

Comfortable welcoming hotel with good restaurant.
Pros:

Welcoming staff- helpful. Bright fresh spotless. Excellent restaurant. Good WiFi. Coffee machine in bedroom.

Cons:

No lift (I’m disabled). A long corridor had some steps which were poorly marked and no handrail. Cramped carpark.

A comfortable and welcoming place to renew contact with family.
Pros:

The staff were particularly helpful and the food was good. I stupidly forgot to clear my safe; your manager rang to tell me and offer to securely post on to me in Devon - I am very grateful.

Cons:

The facilities were fine as far as they went; however it would have been better to have a lounge when the weather was bad.
Twenty steps up to the bedroom was quite demanding after a long trip: I understand you are installing a lift in November!

Lovely hotel with a superb staff. Comfortable bedrooms and really good food.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. Good choices, tasted great. Staff was exceptional. Our apartment was delightful. We could have done more cooking if we wanted.

Cons:

We didn’t have a car so took taxi due to the heavy rain. Walked when the weather was better. It was about a mile to the town proper.
