Joli hôtel familial et calme : nous avions par moment la piscine pour nous seuls. Le petit déjeuner était bon, vous êtes bien localisés pour vous déplacer en voiture. Le personnel est très gentil.

The only negative point is that the AC is set at a very low temperature. It's an on or off AC : no possibility to set the temperature at a desired degree or strength of air flow. It's really freezing as you enter the room. One night is enough to catch a cold!

Séjour convenable (4 nuits avec petit déjeuner)
Chambre : quelques odeurs d’égouts dans la Sdb, pression faible à la pomme de douche
Petit déjeuner : nappe et serviettes pas propres (remarque faite au personnel et à l’accueil : reçu appel du manager mais problème identique le lendemain)

Chambre bruyante et nourriture infame
Pros:

Nous avions une chambre côté route de grande circulation, même si la chambre était spartiate c'était surtout le bruit de la route. Fenêtres qui ferment mal, nous avons dormi avec les bouchons dans les oreilles mais ca ne suffisait pas. Sinon on décourage fortement la restauration, nourriture chère, sans saveur (buffet dont nourriture froide). On était tous seuls à l'intérieur car ils n'ont pas voulu nous donner une table dehors. Petit-déjeuner idem, nourriture basse gamme. À éviter à tout prix.

The Sur Plaza hotel is a decent place to stay in Sur, Oman. It is easy to find when you drive into town. The restaurant has good food for breakfast and dinner. The staff was friendly.

Nice, refurbished hotel with clean rooms and kind staff. Hotel has a swimming pool in which you can cool down. By car you can find plenty of restaurants within 15 min distance.

Pros:

I actually booked this place by mistake, but it turned out well.

The hotel was a very pleasant place for an overnight stay.
The room was spacious ( actually a surprise upgrade on my original booking ) and well laid out.

Staff were very helpful.

The evening meal was delicious, and the breakfast was okay - though I arrived a little too late, I think. Having fresh, rather than processed cheese would have been nicer.

All in all, a good place for a business stopover.
