Hotel Sovereign

I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel during my visit to Daman in December 2024. The property is in dire need of maintenance. The wash basin tap was leaking, causing water to spill into the room. One of the mattresses was broken, and they had to stack three small mattresses to make it functional. The wallpaper and paint on the walls were peeling off. The management and staff seemed either unaware of these issues or simply negligent in addressing them. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Moreover, there is no mobile network in the rooms, with service only available in the reception area. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The only positive aspect was the breakfast, which offered a variety of options and was quite tasty.

Amazing staff and services

Very rude and unfriendly staff. They don’t care about the guests but only money. There is no parking available and if you even make any genuine request they will try to not entertain it by giving some random excuses. However, the rooms are okay but not reasonable price.

Location is everag.hotel restaurant is very clean and good. food is very good.hotel staat service is good.but at space of hotel entry at ground floor is not proper clean and ther was some bad smell. In my opinion hotel room rent is slight high.

Room are very dirty with smoke smell.
Someone smoke in room and pillow is also smells like that.
I have requested to change room but they not provided even though there is empty room.
Hotel is very unclean and dirty.
Very disappointed this time.

Disgusting stay, it's stinking smell of septic tank all around; Cooking and dinning in the stinking septic tank was my first kind of experience. I paid INR3300/- for 2N ending up sleeping in the smelly and untidy environment. I would recommend GoIbibo to Please check this place before allowing to display for stay in Online Channels.

Bad experience at sovereign hotel, Not up to the expectation. poor room condition, foul smell on lobby, lift and interior old style. room accessories old n jammed. overall bad properties. Parking is on open road not dedicated private parking. Not properly ventilation. Bathroom accessories are faulty.

Old property not well maintained. Not even basic facilities like wifi, fridge, hot water, intercom. No mobile network inside room. The floor and linen was clean, but everything else was dusty and spoiled. Ceiling was damaged. Too much overpriced with very less facilities. Its mentioned as a 3 star hotel but its equivalent to 2 star hotel
The location is good. And buffet breakfast and restaurant food is delicious.

Hotel location is good but it's very old hotel so it need really a renovation as room was so damp and floor whole day damp. It's not worth of room charges charged for.. Breakfast buffet is delicious.. Check surroundings before book in here as stay will not be pleasant as shown in all online booking websites.

Not a good experience, you guys overcharge , there was no wifi no mini fridge , you took money from my pocket on the pretext of providing services and what i got was abject fraud. The AC was not working either , the remote was in a bad condition, over all felt like robbed.

Room was very dirty and oldest bed with spring mattress .
Very bad smell in entire hotel.
I was stay on 1st floor.
I had booked online twin room for 4 members,but they provided only 1 room with extra bed.

Excellent location and great restaurant and food, room condition below average but good and supportive staff.
I was traveling from Rajasthan to Bangalore and Vapi/daman was on my way so decided to stay here for a day and explore daman.
Location is perfect to stay if you need a beach break.

The staff is rude, specially the uncle who sits at reception. We got stale food still they charged us for that. Very rude wile checking out, and the prices mentioned in the menu for room service they charge double of that.

1.) I had bad experience with said hotel and was stuck in Hotel Elevator for more than 30 Mins. there was no regrets of hotel employees about this and they have taken such incident very likely.
2.) Breakfast was also had very less options and basic.
3.) No hotel wifi was offered and available, I stayed 2 nights here still they were not
able to figure out
4.) Small insects inside room you can easily find out in any corner.

My personal point of view is, please book this hotel as very last option only.

When you are a solo traveler you are given the treatment of a solo traveler like carrying your own luggage, getting abrupt calls from the reception and so and so forth. They even charged me an extra water bottle even though I hadnt ordered one.

Nice Place to stay. Situated in Moti Daman at sea face road. Nice location, Just 2 mins walking from Sea front and Daman Market, We can get share taxi easily from Vapi station to Daman Market and hotel is walkable from Daman Market. Good Rooms, good Ambience, Co-operative staff, Food is good.

Drawback is no WI-FI, Our INTERCOM was not working.

Room was ok type. Hot water 24/7. Felt like old rooms, needs renovation. For one day stay, this is good, only for bachelors. BIGGEST PLUS POINT IS THE MORNING BREAKFAST, WHICH WAS SO TASTY AND YUMMY AND UNLIMITED. I DIDN'T HAVE LUNCH WHOLE DAY AFTER HAVING BREAKFAST AT 8.00 AM. Manager is very cooperative and gentle.

After paying 4250/- for 1 day not worth at all , Room was a bit clean but all inside equipment was too old, while passing through reception to lift is too bad smell was coming from drainage small and pipes were there, Water was coming cold , After ordered food 3 times I have to waited, madam on reception behaviour was not good also.
If you are paying this amount you will get better hotels surrounding and better also.

Room service is very slow.
There is no phone in the room.
No wifi in the room.
Wifi only works at the reception.
No mobile network in the room.
Check in time was 12noon.
We reached the hotel by 1.15 and still had to wait 15 minutes to get in the room.
