Hotel Gurukripa

Terrible hotel….we just reached and checked in here. The moment we enter in the bathroom ceiling was leaking like it rains. And nobody is listening to us…. Manager mr Ramania is saying it is leaking because of rains & there is no rooms available in the hotel and he can’t refund the money.

stay was ok but not as per the expectations. electric kettle to be kept in the rooms. washrooms need to modify. breakfast size to be maximize and add more dishes for vegetarian

Rooms are well maintained, with a swift service.
Restaurant has good seafood options, Cocktail preparation could be improved to cater to the guests.
Serving time and service could be better.
Overall it was a good experience during our stay! Thank You !

from outside it's not looking good, but inside it's very nice, little bit old but it's ok.
And best thing is their hospitality.
Beach is very near by.
Any one can stay here, I am recommending this hotel, Beach is about 200m from the hotel and the hotel is in Main road.

Smelly hotel of rotten food. Room not maintained well, though clean enough. The service staff was good. Restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. All in all, ok for a one night halt, but do not expect much more. Seems to have a lot of traffic though.

The rooms are ok. Service is good. Hotel is bit old and dated. But the food is awesome,
Specially seafood and chicken. Breakfast is also decent. Very near from Devka Beach. Only decent hotel near the Beach. Staff are very friendly and very caring.

Fantastic . Hygiene. Service was excellent. Food very tasty. I recommend that when go to Daman select to stay in Hotel Gurukrupa. Location is near to seaface. Whenever in future I will go to Daman with family I will stay in Hotel Gurukrupa.

Very poor maintenance. Rooms are shabby. Water leakage from multiple points in the bathroom. No fridge in the fridge cabinet. The only thing good about the hotelwas the food and friendly reception staff.

Hotel location is very near to sea face...
You can easily get conveyance from that location to reach any where in daman.

Rooms are not pesticides cockroaches everywhere, whole hotel has stinky smell the moment you enter from main door. Very old structure of building and not maintained properly. Water was leaking from AC so not used AC at all. Hotel runs on very low staff so nobody much interested in guest service, it like road side hotel where you pay and ho. Doesn' deserve a y stars as prices for room dosn' t match with quality of hotel and services offered.

This is my third visit to Hotel Gurukripa in the span of fifteen years. The room allotted by the hotel management was neat and clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Now, here are few points to be worked by the Hotel Management, the check in took sometime and after the procedure was complete, the Front desk didn't care to tell the bell boy to carry our luggage to the room, we had to guess by ourselves that the key of the room was handed over to the bell boy and its time to follow him. The service tea was not good, the tea served in the Hotel Sovereign was quite better. Overall, the experience was decent, I would like to try this hotel for one more time.

The rooms and services were good. But the common passage area and staircase was not clean and could have been better...the television and channels available were the best I encountered in recent times...a special mention about the restaurant...the quality, taste as well as the service provided by the restaurant staff were excellent.... however the liquor outlet near the entrance could be a nuisance for many guests and relocating the same may greatly improve the ambience and reputation of your hotel.... overall the stay was really nice and appreciate the service extended...

Rooms are good with all necessary amenities provided beforehand. Location is also very good, close to the beach with all good dine out places within walking distance. Hotel staff was very cooperative.

There are several areas that can be improved. Like general hygiene. In last few occasions i found small creatures in the rooms. for e.g. cockroaches. Some fittings are loose in bathrooms. Area below wash basin can hurt some one in case of uncovered. I can understand your hotel is under renovation/maintenance process. But still you can work upon the points mentioned above.

Welcome was vary bad.Receptionist behavior was not good as she was busy to attain restaurant customer and ignoring gust setting at reception.Room allocated 40 min. Late. Parking not avaliable for hotel gust at night time because they allocate parking to restaurant gust first. Parking are is not near to hotel. We have to walk for 3-4 min to reach at parking. Lift not close properly hence you have to suffer every time to close lift door. Switchboard damaged. Wash basin tap also broken. Deluxe room provided with jointing two single bed for couple stay. Ground floor lobby was vary smelly because of Comment wash room near reception.
Breakfast was good. Location is also good. Walkable from beach. Room 305 deluxe

The place has everything for a couple, a serene environment, great food and delightful aroma. The couple will have a nice time and there are some interesting places nearby to visit. This is a must-visit.

Overall average property as location is good
but staff poor attitude. Food is average. Rooms are spacious and maintained nicely. Very near to Devika beach and main Market. So overall experience is fair.
