Amazing place to stay with amazing views.

I had a 90 min massage with Elizabeth(? Or Lizbeth) and it was so good! She knew what needed more work and paid attention to my requests for more/ less pressure.

My aunt was massaged by Angie and she was excellent too

My wife and I stayed at Xandari for 4 days. It was an incredibly relaxing and beautiful vacation, we spent our time exploring the hiking trails and waterfalls and walking around the gardens filled with native plants and flowers. The staff was always helpful and accommodating, we joined several of the hotel organized activities, like the cooking class with Oscar and the yoga session with Glori. Even if we ventured out of the hotel for a few additional activities we could’ve perfectly spent the whole time enjoying the beautiful scenery of the hotel areas. We ended up visiting the spa twice and got superb treatments with Deimy and Glori. This is the perfect spot to end or start your vacation since it’s super close to the airport and you can even grab an uber to the nearby towns. Highly recommend this place!

Wow - what a stylish, peaceful special place

We stayed at Xandari for 8 nights in mid-May 2026 during our Costa Rica trip and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

The property is spread across beautiful grounds with walking trails, waterfalls, gardens, and great views of the Central Valley. We stayed in the Star Villa, which was spacious, private, and comfortable. One of our favorite parts of the stay was waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

We especially enjoyed exploring the trails within the property. The waterfalls were a pleasant surprise and made the walks feel like an adventure. We also spent some time visiting the farm and appreciated how connected the resort feels to nature.
The restaurant had excellent views, and we enjoyed several meals there during our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

A special thank you to Karla and Dilan at reception, and Erica and Sophia at the restaurant, for making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay.

We had very pleasant weather during our visit, which allowed us to fully enjoy both the property and our day trips around Costa Rica. After busy days of sightseeing, it was nice to return to a quiet and relaxing place each evening.

Overall, Xandari was a great base for exploring the area, and we would gladly stay there again.

This is a hidden gem. I’m from Costa Rica but my husband is American and we are always looking for spots to visit and recommend our friends. Xandari has been by far the best hotel we’ve visited this close to the city/airport. We could’ve easily avoid renting a car if we only wanted to enjoy the hotel amenities (it has enough trails to enjoy a 2 or 3 day trip). The highlight was the spa; we got a couples 4h experience that left me completely relaxed. Irene and Lisbeth were amazing, they made us super comfortable from the beginning and personalized the treatment at every step. I’m definitely coming back!

Our only regret is not staying here longer - we used it as a 1 night spot so we could get to the airport quickly the next morning but we'd stay here for 3-4 nights next time.

Quite simply the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail in the design is impeccable. The colours wonderfully complement the vivid colours cape of Costa Rica and the service was faultless.

This resort is absolutely wonderful. Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The food and service was excellent. I enjoyed the gorgeous views here and environment. There was quite a bit of wildlife to see, as well as plants. The waterfalls were worth the hike. There was also an activity to create your own painting. The massages were great as well. Highly recommend this resort.

What a amazing place, everyting is 6 ⭐️ the location, the people so nice.And the Spa😍 we had massage from Lisette and Irene, incredible so good.

We stayed 8 days and had a perfect time every day. The room was spacious and had great amenities, including comfortable beds, luxurious bathroom and shower, with a private garden and patio with a great view over the jungle, the sky, and the city at a far distance. Lucy, spa manager, told us about her love for the owners of the hotel (an architect and an artist) which made us appreciate the beauty of the place even more. The gardeners tend to the site in such loving ways that nature can comfortably be enjoyed. Every day there was an activity organized and I had a yoga session with Glorianne that was so relaxing. Tea at 4PM every day. And the food was delicious and varied. Attention to detail and attentiveness of the staff was the best we ever experienced.

We have just left (and I mean a couple of hours ago) Xandari Resort. What a great location with great, unusual and unique rooms and grounds. Add to that the really helpful and friendly staff and this is a great place to stay. Whether at the beginning, during or at end of a Costa Rica adventure, if this hotel has come up on your radar then book it. If you're needing an airport stop-over, stay here as it's only a short distance away and you won't regret it.

The hotel and Spa have a great view of the Central Valley, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the spa is great, our hosts in the spa were Gloriana and Joselin. I will come back soon.

Property is ok but very noisy from the road end the plains.

The place was phenomenal — extremely peaceful and surrounded by nature. The facilities were excellent, with all the amenities we were looking for, offering a true sense of peace and tranquility. There is also parking available.

The personalized service was outstanding and first-class. The massage we received from Jocelyn and Deimi was incredible — highly recommended.

I had an amazing hot stone massage experience! The massage itself was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic, and the atmosphere was just perfect — calm, peaceful, and welcoming from start to finish. You can tell they really care about creating a great experience. I left feeling completely refreshed and stress-free. Highly recommend!
