The room was big. Breakfast was good and location was good. Staff was very friendly at check in/out and breakfast area. Hallways were bright n clean.
Beds were hard. It said " King" it definitely wasn't a king size because. Bathroom was a bit outdated. Pressure of the toilet was awful, had to hold the handle good 10 seconds for it to go down. Shower pressure was not too good.
We arrived early evening and left shortly after 6 a.m. so did not really have much opportunity to see anything other than our room which was fine. Clean and quiet.
Breakfast was pretty poor with almost no healthy options. Not even whole wheat bread.
Everything was very good. The room was a nice size and clean. The breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Clean!! Decent breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable bed and pillows.
Loud heating unit in the room.
Close to I57
Room was furthest from the elevator
While a lady named Tess at the front desk really tried to accommodate us, she was very friendly and seemed concerned about our needs.
She seemed to be running everything in hotel.
She was attending to the breakfast also.
Had that well stocked and wasnt too bad of selections.
Although my husband went to eat a blueberry muffin and it was so stale.
We were also the only guests in breakfast area at 8am.
We also did not see any other staff members in the hotel during our 1 night stay.
First of all when we arrived there were no other guest cars in the parking lot around 2 pm arrival.
That seemed very odd to me because this looked like a large hotel.
Also had an odd odor kind of musty odor, not fresh smelling.
Tess was friendly and efficient at check in though.
We we arrived at our room I noticed didnt smell fresh either.
Bathroom sink had terrible water pressure and took a long time to get hot. We noticed later that the sink was dripping underneath onto floor.
The shower water pressure also was bad, very hard to rinse long hair, took a long time, outdated shower head.
The shower looked in need of some repair too.
The refrigerator had an awful buzzing and a loud humming when it turned on.
Kept me awake a lot of the night.
The heater/air ran way too much and was also not very quiet when turning on.
The ceiling had cracks that had a bad repair job, maybe had been leaking at one time which might explain the odd odors in hotel/ room.
The room looked fairly clean but carpet could have been better, especially around corners and furniture. Tge toliet was little suspect too. I wiped it down myself!
The TV was hard to change channels had to get closer to it and had no guide to find what you wanted to watch.
The room didn't look like it did in photos on line, hadseemed like it was more updated so that was also a disappointment.
The swimming pool was outside, not too good in a colder climate so not usable in March.
We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but because of these things when we went to complain we were told could have maintenance look at the room or move to another room.
Or gave us option to get a refund for the second night, which we chose to do, since we would have to pack up our things anyway.
Overall hotel seemed rundown, deserted of guests and just not pleasant.
Stayed here before. Location is my home town.
The hvac unit in room was very noisy. Made it difficult to sleep. Finally turned it off in early morning. Fortunately, the weather wasn’t too hot or cold so room didn’t get too cold before morning.
Easy check-in, comfy beds, good water pressure and nice staff.
Coffee at breakfast wasn’t drinkable. We used the coffee in the room which was better. We parked near the entrance closest to our room which was far back behind the main entrance. It was really dark and we didn’t feel comfortable having to unload back there. There was bad weather overnight and back entrance was icy. I would make sure staff are putting salt down before someone falls. Tv needs to be updated to modern options. Microwave was only in Spanish. I figured it out but still a bit odd.
Outdoor pool
Bugs in dining area, shower dark, nowhere to put soap while in shower
Staff
The pool was closed
Left before breakfast
Dusting the shelving with TV and microwave..and also the bottom of the floor lamp was filthy. Hotel looked new..but shower was old
It was very clean, modern and comfortable! We have family in the area so will be staying again. Everyone very friendly.
