Pros:

I stayed in July 2026 during a heatwave. Unfortunately, the experience completely fails to meet the standard of comfort you would expect from a 4-star establishment.
1) No Air Conditioning. The only way to cool down the sweltering room is to open the windows in the evening.
2) The feature of the stay is the nearby lake. But because the windows do not have screens, opening them immediately invites mosquitoes in, which one might guess will happen if you build near a lake. The only alternative provided was a loud and completely ineffective (at +36C inside) fan, making sleep nearly impossible. I specifically ordered a calm room, but ended up trying to get asleep at +36C deg with earplugs (because the fan was loud), what an irony.
3) The fridge was broken, but ok it happens. The bad news it happened to be critical equipment in the summer, which should have been checked by the hotel.
4) The decor and furniture are heavily dated. The actual room feels much closer to a basic 2-star budget motel than a premium hotel. Oh, and they will ask you your credit card in the case you damage their wooden bed or whatever.
5) Overall cleanliness was difficult to assess, as a saw hair inside 'new' towels, hair in the sink (someone's shaving), otherwise I had no choice but to trust it had been cleaned before.
6) The breakfast was good, nothing to complain.

When I wrote to them regarding these issues asking to refund, their response was condescending and unapologetic. The management hid behind administrative loopholes regarding their star rating. Apparently, in France, if you put a wooden bed and have fresh juice for the breakfast, it somehow lets you omit the equipment required to meet what is known as "4 stars".
If you are paying for 4-star comfort (or looking to get some sleep at all), look elsewhere—especially during the summer months. Like, literally every other 3-star hotel in Yvelines is equipped with an A/C.

Sehr netter Empfang von Laura, sie hat sich super um uns bemüht. Gutes Frühstück auf einer tollen Terrasse. Restaurant sehr gut, Personal im Restaurant sehr kühl, Weine absolut überteuert.

Cons:

Keine Klimaanlage bei Temperaturen von 36 Grad aussen, dementsprechend warm im Zimmer.

La proximité avec les salles du Manet.

Cons:

1/Porte-savon de la baignoire, vide (heureusement il y avait du savon sur le lavabo...!) et branlant...il m'est resté dans les mains alors que je voulais le remettre correctement. Je l'ai signalé à l'accueil (de mémoire, j'étais dans la chambre 61).
2/ chasse d'eau non tiré (donc toilettes apparemment pas nettoyées !!) lorsque j'ai pris possession de la chambre. Signalé également à l'accueil.
3/ moquette chambre et couloir vraiment très vieillotte et bien usée. Mériterait d'être remplacée.
