Thon Hotel Brønnøysund

I always overnight here because of my job. Many times i also stay more than one night. I recommend this hotel because is located in the center nearby all facilities. Personnel workig there are always kind with customers. Moreover the hotel offers a great breakfast and, if you need, the restaurant can also provide excellent food. I will always come back here when i am in Bronnoysund.

Being the main hotel in town it films up very fast. The oil companies and Hurtigruten has agreement for rooms. So book well in advance. They have very good breakfast. The evening restaurant is also good. There is a supermarket right behind it, and walking distance to town centre for couple of birds and an Amfi centre

A hotel with more or less a monopoly in the area. The breakfast saves the whole experience! It is excellent!
Now I hope Thon will soon do something about the choice of colours and aesthetics. The screaming yellow and green colours feel restless, stressful, and outdated.
Furthermore, they need to upgrade the pillows and duvets. They feel like synthetic lumps, without air and ventilation.

The service, the food and the rooms are as you can expect, and the same as you get on 90% of Norwegian Hotels.

Nothing separates them in neither a good or a bad way.

They used to have a juice machine in the breakfast area that I loved, and that actually did separate them from other hotels in regards of breakfast experience. But they have now removed it.

I stayed at Thon Hotel Brønnøysund for one night before embarking on a vessel and one night after disembarking, during a business trip. While my stay was short, the overall impression was very positive.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere from the start. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, varied, and a perfect way to start the day. The environment inside the hotel was calm and quiet, making it easy to rest, which I really appreciated after long travel days.

I did not experience the full housekeeping service due to the short duration of my stay, but I saw the cleaning staff in action and the standards looked good. The location is also very convenient for travelers, with easy access to the town and connections.

Overall, this hotel provided exactly what I needed: comfort, quiet, good food, and professional service. I would recommend it both for short business stays and for travelers looking for a peaceful base in Brønnøysund.

Nice hotel in a small town

Very nice staff in the reception and in the restaurant.

Parking at the hotel. Check in ok. Very colourful room. Restaurant is a bit dark, food was not what we orderd. We had the impression that some ingredients were not available and replaced by others. Breakfast was good.

Allt var bra förutom att det var väldigt varmt på rummet, fönstret gick ej öppna, svårt att sova.

Ein angenehmes Hotel mit einem sehr guten Standard. Ruhig, gutes Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück. Dass es bei zwei Übernachtungen keinen Zimmerservice gibt, müsste zumindest mitgeteilt werden.

We loved this hotel! The staff is very profesjonel and helpful, is near the hurtigruten and city senter, Kiwi is near also.

Elendig logistikk ved frokost. Ellers er hotellet helt gjennomsnittlig.

Dusjbatteri var lekk, og dryppet, Cromecast på Tv på rommet virket ikke. Fikk inn alle naborom, men ikke eget rom. Fikk rom med to enkeltsenger, hadde bestilt med dobbelseng.

Hyggelig mottakelse. Oppgradering. Deilige senger og sengetøy. Utmerket frokost.

The hotel is located in the centre of the town , perfect for a walking around. The personnel is very friendly, both at reception and restaurant. Food quality is good. The room met my expectations. In general i recommend rlthis hotel if you're going to Bronnoysund.
