No reception; only self check-in. There was not even any soap for washing at the bathroom. The breakfast was very poor. I was expecting better service.

Die Fenster sind sehr gut, schalldicht ... leider kann man nicht bei offenem Fenster schlafen, da der Bahnhof SBB, Wilerbahn, Busbahnhof und Besucher Steakhaus nicht gerade als ruhig bezeichnet werden kann.

Hotel Blumenstein is a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced (by Swiss standards) place if you need to stay in Frauenfeld. Be aware that the hotel runs on a very low-staff model: guests check themselves in, there is no desk staff, and contact is by phone.

When I checked in, the self-checkin machine knew my reservation, but was broken and couldn't accept payments; when I called the attached help number, there was an immediate answer and I could give my credit card number by phone, so it worked out OK. The breakfast is modest but acceptable, and the daily cleaning staff is very friendly and supportive. When I requested an extra pillow from the cleaning person, there were two there the next morning.

My one concern was security. With no desk staff, there is no way to use the hotel's safe, and the individual rooms do not have safes. Moreover, the two hallways of guest rooms are off a public stairway that is open during the day, and that serves several businesses. That means anyone could walk in off the street and be at the room doors in a moment, since the hall door with a keycard lock was not usually closed, at least not during the day. Not a major concern for me in a small, safe town, but still not ideal in terms of controlling access to the guest area.

I was comfortable, the room was clean and everything worked, and the location is extremely central, right opposite the train station.

La chambre ne correspondait pas au descriptif du promoteur sur internet et le personnel de l'hôtel Blumenstein m'a proposé une chambre supérieur pour le même prix - excellent service!
L'hôtel est bien situé en face de la gare, les chambres pratiques et propres. Une chaise pour le bureau aura été bienvenu, mais le fauteuil faisait l'affaire. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le buffet du petit-déjeuner bien garni. L'hôtel a des places de parc gratuits et il y a aussi un parking et des places payant pas loin et pas cher.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Leider ist es aufgrund der zentralen Lage auch ziemlich laut (Bahnhof und Kirche).

Premier séjour dans un hotel avec enregistrement automatique et final même si trouvé l'entrée a été compliqué, tous c'est bien passé.

L'hotel est calme et propre .

Leider mussten wir 3 Stunden warten, weil der Hotelmanager vergessen hatte uns mitzuteilen, dass er um 17:00 Uhr kommen würde Auf dem Hotel .com stand die Einlasszeit um 14:00 Uhr Die Nacht in der Nähe des Bahnhofs war schrecklich, die Leute schrien und es war laut bis 4 Uhr morgens Praktische Lage, weil es in der Nähe des Bahnhofs war, aber nicht für den Service empfohlen

Es war die bisher lauteste Unterkunft überhaupt. Bahnhof, Straßenbahn, Kirchengeläut (3Uhren !!!) besoffe3nes Pack am Bahnhof.....die ganze Nacht!
Frühstück ok......wir waren wie gerädert!

Nettes kleines Hotel direkt am Bahnhof, was uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat, sehr freundliches Personal.
Am Haus angeschlossene Restauration auch empfehlenswert. Wir durften das Zimmer am Abreisetag sogar bis Nachmittags für unsere Kofferaufbewahrung weiter nutzen, ohne Aufpreis. Alles sehr unkomplziert.

Gutes Hotel direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof trotzdem ruhig.
Gutes Frühstücks Büffet. Abendessen im angeschlossenen Restaurant war sehr gut für Fleischesser. Preis / Leistung i.O.

Hotel liegt direkt beim Bahnhof. Vorteil: man ist rasch in der Unterkunft. Nachteil: Isolation ist schlecht. Man hört jedes Tram, die Kirchenglocke und auxh die Autos/Menschen.
Service ist top! Frühstück passt auch.
Irritiert hat uns 3 Kolleginnen, dass wir alle einen unterschiedlichen Preis (trotz gleichem Zimmer und ähnliche Buchungszeit) bezahlten...

Sehr gutes Hotel für reine Übernachtungen. Unmittelbar neben dem Bahnhof gelegen. Nachts etwas Lärm von Güterzügen aber nicht schlimm. Frühstücksangebot recht reichhaltig. Sauberes geräumiges Zimmer.
