Jewel by the seaside
Pros:

Beautifully presented rooms in this elegant historic building. With excellent faculties including access to a well cared-for garden and lots of thoughtful touches like beach towels, fresh ground coffee, a fridge for milk, a stash of board games in the hallway and so on, this is a beautiful place to stay. It's stretching the definition of hotel in that there's no bar, restaurant or (when we stayed) any breakfast facilities, though the rest of the town caters for your needs more than adequately. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, the bay boardwalk is just opposite and there's car parking.

Cons:

Booking.com led us to believe there were breakfast options and we'd have liked there to be a blind on the skylight.

Best bed ever!
Pros:

Lovely quaint historical place to stay. Rooms are a good size and on a cold night - lovely and warm. Best bed I have slept in - so comfortable. Wonderful outlook and short walk to cafe and restaurants. Bonus having "real" milk in the fridge too.
