Wie Hotels früher waren, urgemütlich!
Pros:

In einer Zeit, wo Hotelketten mit kleinen, spartanisch eingerichteten Zimmern Gäste anlocken möchten, ist dieses Hotel eine wahre Offenbarung! Wunderbare antike Einrichtung mit Liebe zum Detail. Man kommt sich vor wie in eine andere Zeit versetzt. Die Zimmer und auch die Aufenthaltsbereiche sind urgemütlich. Wo findet man noch Hotels wo man sich im Lobbybereich gerne hinsetzt.
Frau Probst ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin.
Der Poolbereich hat viel Charme.
Das Frühstück war extrem reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Beeindruckende Auswahl!

Séjour très agréable danc cet hotel typique et charmant.
Pros:

La décoration est typique et charmante (bien que pouvant être légèrement rafraichie) le sauna et la salle de thé étaient très agréables. Le petit déjeuné était également très bien.

Aangenaam verblijf in kasteeltje , tussen antiek maar met alle modern comfort en service.
Pros:

Het hotel is ingericht in een soort kasteeltje dat uittorent boven het centrum van Daun. De inrichting is op vele plaatsen nog de authentieke luxe met antiek meubilair, lambrizeringen, schilderijen enz. Onze budgetkamer was toch zeer ruim met een mooi salon , een goed bed en een kleine mooi betegelde badkamer, twee vensters die uitkijken over Daun. Mevrouw-manager heeft een eigen stijl met charme en humor. Het ontbijt is een typisch Duits bufetontbijt met alles op en aan. Mooi vrij groot zwembad, met ruime openingsuren en een sauna ook voldoende open en een rustsalon uitkijkend over Daun. Ruime parking.

Cons:

Weinig, hier of daar een klein beetje onderhoud, stoombad defect.

Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt – kann ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
Pros:

Ich war für ein paar Tage alleine im Hotel und hatte insgesamt einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Gebäude selbst hat einen richtig schönen Stil – man merkt, dass es ein historisches Haus ist, aber trotzdem modern und gepflegt.

Der Wellnessbereich hat mir besonders gut gefallen. Sehr sauber, ruhig und perfekt zum Abschalten nach einem Tag unterwegs.

Auch das Frühstück war wirklich gut. Gute Auswahl, alles frisch und völlig ausreichend, um entspannt in den Tag zu starten.

Die Eigentümerin, Frau Probst, war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Man hat gemerkt, dass ihr das Hotel und die Gäste am Herzen liegen.
