No as good as the first time. Hotel gave us an upgrade to the Oyster suites: felt like downgrade.

No hot water, then intermittent hot water in the shower. Too much noise from the upper level bar penetrating our room below (banging, crashing, thumping). Particularly late at night once the staff were closing up.

Pretty perfect with great view of the beach and sunset

Lovely dinner and breakfast by the fire as it was winter 🔥 🪵
Great ocean and sunset 🌅 view from the room, restaurant and Oyster bar. Great service from every staff member and the spa staff was great too.
Easy parking right in front of hotel and way walk to the beach. Lovely me peaceful small town. Friendly and helpful locals too.

It was just perfect ! We felt like royalty as we were the only people staying that day and we got a free upgrade . The food was out of the world specially the sushi ! And the cheesecake for my husband’s birthday was delicious ! Thanks for pampering us ! We will definitely be back and stay more longer

One of our favorite break-aways, third year in a row!
Pros:

Really good breakfast included in room rate, served by very friendly staff. Great eggs benedict!

Cons:

The only area I'd suggest a change is to the Blues restaurant menu, more comfort food and bistro options, less fine dining.

Everything/and everyone!!! U have been at Abalone so many times. I will only stay there. Staff,..from Reception to cleaners are so friendly, respectful and helpful.
