Won't be going there again
Pros:

No glass for water
Shower screen leaks
Breakfast very poor- only DIY instant coffee, very limited food selection, zero atmosphere in breakfast room
One lift not working

Don't waste your money
Pros:

Good location but without parking (and the 20% off code at Q park didn't work) and nothing else was good.

Cons:

Ridiculously overpriced ( I know that the James concert and Aintree races were on but it is basically a travel lodge without an edible breakfast). Tried the code to prebook the q park which didn't work. Despite multiple messages/calls to both hotel and q park didn't get anywhere and had to pay full price to park. And it's not actually close by. Room was OK but bathroom very tired (in need of update and has shower curtain over bath so water everywhere!!), no hand towels/tissues/complimentary water and curtains so thin they were almost pointless. Breakfast was APPALLING. How they think they can charge for this I don't know. I don't mind having to self serve but there were literally only 4 cereals to choose from and cheap supermarket thinly sliced and tasteless bread to toast. There were some inedible supermarket pastries still in their packets and a few plain yogurts, The juice was served directly from the suppliers in small child portioned bottles and cartons. Corridors dirty and staff not interested. Absolutely unacceptable for the price at £360 for just one night. Boycott at all costs...

Its a no frills hotel with a great location.
Pros:

Great location, right beside the Metro, close to many restaurants, pubs, shopping, Tesco & the waterfront. Rooms were also very quiet & had a great shower.

Cons:

Elevator was out for most of our stay & had to take the stairs up to the room with heavy luggage. Needed to ask front dest for toilet paper, only 1 towel per person given, no room safes & no house keeping during our stay. We were ok with all of the above, but some people may not be.

للأسف كانت تجربتي في هذا الفندق سيئة. لا توجد أي خدمات تُذكر، فلا يوجد تنظيف للغرف، ولا مساعدة في حمل الحقائب، ولا حتى توفير خدمة تاكسي. إضافة إلى ذلك، كان المصعد معطلاً واضطررت لحمل أمتعتي إلى الدور الثالث.

الغرف أثاثها قديم ومتهالك، والسرير غير مريح إطلاقًا. كما أن الحمام كان بحالة سيئة جدًا، ولم يتوفر ماء ساخن للاستحمام. بسبب هذه المشاكل، اضطررت لمغادرة الفندق في اليوم التالي وحجز فندق آخر.

نصيحتي للمسافرين: لا تحاول التوفير على حساب راحتك، قم بدفع مبلغ إضافي بسيط واحجز في فندق يوفر لك الراحة والخدمة المناسبة.


Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very poor. There were no services at all—no room cleaning, no assistance with luggage, and no taxi service. In addition, the elevator was out of order, and I had to carry my luggage up to the third floor.

The rooms had old and worn-out furniture, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was in very poor condition, and there was no hot water for showering. Because of these issues, I checked out the next day and booked another hotel.

My advice to travelers: don’t try to save money at the expense of your comfort—spend a little more and choose a hotel that provides proper service and comfort.
