Better hotels for the same money

Good location near to all shops,bars and restaurants

Cons:

Very noisy within the hotel. Stayed 4 nights and on the 3rd day we had to ask the maids for basic things like fresh towels and toilet rolls. Still didn't get them so my wife had to go to reception. We had no clothes hangers and when we asked for some we only got 2 hangers. Room was very stuffy coudnt even open a window the bathroom was tiny so when we had a shower the whole hotel room was full of steam. Definitely not staying here again.

Pros:

Cheap and cheerful hotel. Comfy bed, decent shower. I'd happily stay again for what I paid, which was a last-minute late booking due to a flight cancellation. I'd say it was better than expected. Yes, this hotel is fine or perhaps better than I anticipated, and I normally stay in quite expensive hotels. Yes, carpets are a bit tired, but so are carpets in much more expensive hotels. Fantastic location.

Cons:

I'm not going to complain about a budget hotel, it's not fair to the hotel. All fine.

Great city centre hotel with great staff. Would definitely return for short breaks.
Pros:

Room was spacious and very clean. Fabulous inner city location with very easy access to public transport, Albert Dock and the city centre (shopping district). Check-in / out was very efficient. We were upgraded to a twin room with double beds which was very thoughtful. Special mention for Tom at reception, who we dealt with a few times. Friendly, professional and gave fabulous recommendations for dinner options in the area - which were spot on! He is a great asset to the team.

Cons:

One of the 2 lifts was broken and it sometimes caused a delay in getting to the upstairs rooms. Especially when a large group was checking in.
