This is a very nice hotel. The rooms, the grounds, and the facilities are well maintained. The restaurant has a decent menu. It has a reasonably well stocked bar. Some evenings the hotel would have entertainment out on the grounds. One evening it was puppet shows geared towards little kids - but fun for the whole family.
While staying at the hotel we met travelers from Australia, England, Scotland, and Germany. Overall it was a very nice experience.
I have some medication that is supposed to be kept cool so I was happy when I found that the room had a refrigerator. However, when we would leave for the day the power to the room was cut off - including to the refrigerator. So that was a bit of a bust.
Excellent staff. Professional and friendly

The heritage elements.
Could be better maintained and furnished.
Architektur ist schön. Schöner Garten
Essen ist etwas teuer, laute Zimmernachbarn in der Nacht. Jemand spielte auf einer Trommel um 2Uhr nachts, andere Gäste schoben gefühlt stundenlang Möbel herum.
The room was a nice size, the hotel staff friendly but not exceptional. The location was okay, but on a very busy road (which we did not hear from within the hotel).
The hotel looks like the pictures, but the vibe was a bit tired and sad. It might have been that the weather was cold and foggy for the entirety of or stay, but perhaps not. Most of the facility was quite clean, but the stone floor of our room seemed hard, cold, and less than clean. It would have been nicer if there were some carpets (again, it might have been appropriate for the summer, but not in the winter). The bed was too hard for us. The room had no window, so no natural light (again, better for summer than winter). All-in-all, we didn't feel comfortable. We couldn't connect to the Wifi initially, but a visit to the front desk fixed that. The morning we left, we couldn't connect to the WiFi again.
The restaurant seemed a bit sad. The restaurant staff was low energy, and the dining room a bit muted. We just had a drink in the restaurant, so we can't comment on the food. The location was okay, but on a very busy road (which we did not hear from within the hotel).
Location is very convenient for the fort. Restaurant was nice, with great live music in the evenings, and the food was very good for both breakfast and dinner. Rooms were very spacious, with great furniture (loved the four-poster beds). Relaxing gardens were nice.
View from the room I had was of a dirty wall - was supposed to be a "pool view", but you had to stand right in the corner to see the pool... Others who paid the same amount had a much nicer view. Ended up not using the sitting area because of this. Bathroom could also use a refresh - a bit dirty, and rusty, and the bath leaked. The room smelt a bit musty due to no ventilation.
Very convenient for Taj Mahal
Staff were friendly and attentive
We were in room 123 looking at the pool. There was so much road noise during the night
Pool, garden plus size of the room and the heritage feel of the place . It was very well priced and I particularly like the mojito in the cosy bar
Glad to have an effective heater as we stayed in chilly January . Because of the structure of the building the windows open onto the open arched corridor which gave us a garden view. It makes the room a bit dark which will be fine in the heat but less so in colder January

Hotel was beautiful looking and the Princes room was amazing and a great choice for someone wanting a bit of colonial luxury.
Service at breakfast was poor with long waits for things requested and the need to remind them, especially at the omelette station.
