Element Times Square West

I had a delightful stay at Element! I was visiting New York for a week to catch some Broadway shows and this hotel was perfect. The hotel is roughly 10 minute walk from Times Square and lots of theatres. The hotel is just around the corner from the 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station and it was very easy to travel from JFK to the hotel! I arrived quite late at night and was checked in by the friendly and helpful staff at reception. The hotel room is incredible for a New York hotel - full kitchen including a full size fridge / freezer, hob, dishwasher all the utensils you could need and coffee machine. Truly everything you could need to cook all of your meals during your stay. Breakfast was also excellent - a selection of hot food which was different almost every day - pancakes, waffles, french toast, bacon etc. There is also a bagel station, chobani yogurt, pastries, fruit and cold meats and cheese. The drink selection was also amazing - hot coffee and plenty of tea bags, hot chocolate powder as well as fruit juice. I ate as much as I could at breakfast and quite often wasn’t hungry again until the evening. Breakfast was surprisingly quiet most days even at 9-10am. My flight home got cancelled due to the blizzard so I had to stay an extra couple of days but fortunately the hotel had availability so I was able to book the extra days and stay in the same room! The breakfast staff were also superb on the day of the blizzard - despite it being busy they were bringing out hot food as fast as possible which was very impressive. I didn’t find the lifts in the hotel being an issue - I was on the 26th floor and a couple of times I had to wait a few minutes for a lift but it was never too bad. Rooms are cleaned every other day which worked fine for me! The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well during my stay. The bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely - shampoo, conditioner and body wash are on the wall of the shower and you also get a bottle of lotion in the bathroom. Would highly recommend this hotel for solo travellers looking to see some Broadway shows! Huge thanks to all of the staff at Element for making my stay so great :)

Stayed here for a short break from the UK. 3 ladies in their 60s first time visitors to NY. The hotel was more than we expected for the price we paid, comfortable, clean rooms. The kitchen area was a bonus although we didn't use it. The staff were really nice and were extremely helpful. I booked through a well known travel company but emailed the hotel directly, when our other friend decided to join us, to ensure our rooms would be close together, when we checked in our rooms were directly opposite each other. The breakfast included was enough to keep us going for the day with lots of choice, cooked, cold meats, pastries, fruit and my favourite, porridge. The rooms are well equipped with iron, ironing board, hair dryer and kitchen utensils also coffee making facilities. On our last day there we were able to leave our cases in a locked room ( we were given a ticket that we had to hand back to getour cases) so that we could have one last walk around Times Square. The Location is centrally located, about a 5 min walk away from Times Square. If Im ever lucky enough to visit NY again I would definitely look at booking this hotel again.

מיקום מצוין במנהטן. המלון קרוב מאוד לתחנות אוטובוס ורכבת תחתית, וכ-7 דקות הליכה רגועה בלבד אל Times Square. הכול ממש קרוב ונגיש, וזה יתרון גדול כשמטיילים בעיר.
החדר היה יחסית גדול למנהטן, עם שתי מיטות זוגיות ומרחב נוח גם למשפחה. למלון יש מטבח מאובזר היטב ומקרר מלא, מה שמאוד נוח למי שרוצה לשמור אוכל, חטיפים ושתייה במהלך השהות.
לפני שהגענו קצת הפחידו אותנו לגבי המעליות, אבל בפועל כולן עבדו מצוין. זמן ההמתנה היה קצר מאוד – חיכינו לכל היותר כ-3 דקות, והמלון היה מלא. טיפ קטן: כדאי לבקש קומה גבוהה, כי לשם המעליות מגיעות לרוב ריקות. למלון כ-40 קומות ואנחנו ישנו בקומה 39.
הנוף מהחדר שלנו לא היה מרשים במיוחד, אבל ייתכן שיש חדרים עם נוף פתוח יותר. בסופו של דבר זו New York City – עיר מוקפת בבניינים מכל עבר.
ארוחת הבוקר לפעמים מעט צפופה, אבל בהחלט איכותית ביחס לארצות הברית. זו דרך טובה לפתוח את היום בלי לבזבז זמן וכסף על חיפוש מקום לאכול בבוקר.
המחיר של המלון הפתיע אותנו לטובה והיה זול יותר ממלונות רבים באזור.
הייתי עם שני ילדים מתבגרים שנהנו מאוד מהמלון, מהסביבה ומהמיקום – ובמידה רבה בזכות זה גם מהטיול שלנו בניו יורק.

Excellent location in Manhattan. The hotel is very close to bus stops and subway stations, and only about a 7-minute easy walk to Times Square. Everything is nearby, which makes it very convenient when exploring New York City.
The room was relatively large for Manhattan standards. We had two double beds and there was still enough space to move around comfortably. The hotel also has a well-equipped kitchenette and a full refrigerator, which is very convenient for keeping drinks, snacks, or simple food during the stay.
Before arriving we were a bit worried about the elevators because of some reviews, but in reality they all worked well. The waiting time was short – at most about 3 minutes – even though the hotel was full. A small tip: ask for a high floor, because the elevators often reach those floors empty. The hotel has about 40 floors and we stayed on the 39th floor.

La ubicación es excelente. El buffet del desayuno está bien. Y las instalaciones son nuevas e muy cómodas. La limpieza era magnífica.

Camere moderne e pulite. Bagno nuovo con doccia con porte in vetro, un plus non da poco per NY. Colazione varia e abbondante. Complessivamente è stato un piacevolissimo soggiorno.
