Lication
The room offered was dingy, dirty and had cob webs. When we objected, then a fresh room was given. This was our second stay here.
Staff was very polite and helpful. Location is excellent.
Facilities like Gym, Spa were non-functional. For a 5 star property, Breakfast and Dinner Buffets were very limited - not upto the expectations and not value for the premium room tariff charged by the hotel. Dinner buffet did not even have any starters. The swimming pool is small and there was a group swimming class in the evening for non-resident children. This made the pool extremely crowded.
The staff was good, Breakfast was ok, with new places coming up, they really need to up their game. For the price being charged, the facilities are much to be desired. The excuse could be that the place is under renovation, then prices should also be adjusted accordingly.
No SPA, Cleanliness, Reluctance of Uber to come to the hotel, a general lethargy to book the in-house transportation to the Airport, price to facility much to be desired. If there is renovation happening, it should be put up on the website; it should not be that you discover it only after you check in that too on enquiry.
The location is good, has a feel of old times, but too many stairs and not ideal for older people.
Very bad experience
Very bad experience
Very shady place room offered was the only room on floor between there renovation
staff courteous
Till 2 AM, I have been listening to the sounds coming from other rooms than I have to complain.
Excellent Property and True Hospitality
The hotel is a rubble zone due to ongoing renovation will sound of pneumatic hammers as part of the hospitality. Not to stop at that I was given a room with twin beds even though I had asked for a king bed. Next the room was connected to another room and one could hear the occupants of adjacent room talk. After some resistance the room was changed. The changed room had a variety of challenges including the fact that the TV and intercom were dysfunctional. After some resistance, the room was changed again around 8PM in the night.
The reception staff was uninterested and their reaction time to a guest complaint made me remember government hospitals of the past (they are now much better than this hotel atleast).
Never again!
The ambiance.
Staff is rude.

Breakfast was well spread and nice. I especially liked the masala dosa. The staff was quite polite and sincere.
The hotel was under renovation but no one informed about it. Most of the facilities like Gym were closed. The rooms also did not have anything in comparison to a typical 4-5 star facility, especially the shower area.
