Pros:

Bel appartement bien équipé, et comfortable. Une voiture est absolument nécessaire pour rester dans ces appartements. Il y avait laveuse et sécheuse, un luxe que nous n'avions pas encore vu dans d'autres appartements que nous avons loué dans notre séjour au Portugal, très utile. Ils fournissent aussi quelques capsules de café (système Delta, si vous voulez en apporter plus), et des sachets de sel, poivre et huile d'olive, ce qui évite d'avoir a acheter ces trucs si vous planifiez un ou 2 repas a l'appart.

Il y aurait un petit marché sur place, mais fermé dimanche et lundi (les 2 jours ou nous étions là) donc il faut aller a 10+ minutes pour une épicerie

Notre plus grande déception était de constater que les appartements côté "jardin" sont vraiment très loin de la plage. Il faut faire un bon 5 minutes de voiture pour s'y rendre, au minimum. Le complexe est immense, et les appartements a proximité de la plage sont dans une section a l'opposé de l'immense site/terrain de golfe, pas vraiment possible de faire ça à la marche. Si vous bookez cette option pour la plage, vaut mieux payer l'extra pour un appartement dans cette section.

Il y avait également un nombre incalculable de mouches noires a l'extérieur. Il y avait une belle terrasse donnant sur la piscine, mais l'utiliser était presqu'impossible vu la quantité de mouches. Plusieurs mouches réussissaient a entrer dans l'appart. Lorsque nous avons pris possession au premier jour, il y en avait déjà plusieurs dans la cuisine.

Hidden gem for relaxed family stay
Pros:

Great apartment, sheltered pool shared with few others so almost private and with warm water.
20 min drive to great destinations ( Óbidos, Peniche) and shopping.
Great for a family stay where you want time on your own.
Glad to go again!

Nice property. Good but dated facilities. Basically a condo hotel, clean and simple. No AC and basic mattresses. Near the beach, and lots of things to do.

Pros:

Good size apartment, close to the beach. Washer/dryer was handy. For such a beautiful part of Portugal there was a disappointing view out of the apartment - looking at other buildings and being overlooked by them. Certainly not the stunning ocean view shown in all their marketing material. Also disappointing not to be able to control the heating given the cold wet weather in mid March - it did feel a bit cold in the apartment at times.

Escogimos una casa con vistas a la piscina y cerca de la playa. La casa en la que estuvimos estaba fenomenal, super espaciosa, muy limpia y cuidada. Tuvimos piscina practicamente privada para nosotros (sólo 1 piscina, no tuvimos acceso a las 9 que mencionan que hay) y la playa la teníamos muy cerca. La playa es preciosa pero con olas muy fuertes, es mar abierto, por lo que para los niños es complicado bañarse.

Como contras mencionaría que se necesita el coche para absolutamente todo lo que no sea pisicina o playa: no hay ni restaurantes cerca, ni supermercado. Si qué hay un par de restaurantes dentro del complejo (aún dentro del complejo es necesario ir en coche) con precios bastante mas elevados que en los restaurantes de los pueblos cercanos sin que la comida, a mi parecer, tenga una calidad superior.

La única queja que tengo es que nos correspondía una limpieza de la casa en la mitad de nuestra estancia y nunca vino nadie a limpiar. Y cuando lo comentamos en el check out, sólo obtuvimos buenas palabras.

Accommodation was very tired, cracked bathroom surfaces, rusty radiators, broken kitchen cupboard and bin, lack of glasses and cutlery. Staff at the clubhouse restaurant were unfriendly and we felt like we were too much trouble for them.

The Village är ganska slitet och ligger verkligen i utkanten av resorten. Uppgradera istället till Beach Front som är i bättre skick och trevligare omgivning.

Pros:

Overall the Marriott property is beautiful but as the drive continues through the village properties they are much more outdated. Our apartment was ocean view but given we were on the bottom floor could not see it it was however very close to the beach and only a few steps walk.

Please do yourself and family a favor and choose The Beachfront and not The Village. It’s materially closer to the water, is more modern and holds all the amenities.
