Close to centre , walking took about 10 minutes.
The druggies and alcholics at the back of the property in the car park .
The room was a lot bigger than I expected, and the beds were large and comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was also larger than expected and was nice and modern. The added bonus of a fridge in the room was unexpected as well.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the reception was manned 24 hours a day.
On site car parking was great, but just a heads up for contractors with vans, choose the entrance off the side street, the front entrance is very tight.
We had no issues at all.
Nice hotel and good staff. Rooms are good in size.
Old facilities, need to upgrade.
Close to town
Facilities
The room was small, but very clean and tidy with all the facilities that one would expect to be provided in a hotel. Breakfast was brought to my room and was very good value. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had recently been refurbished and was good value.
There was a problem with water draining from the shower but the staff responded to my request to deal with this.
Excellent value, close to the town centre. Stayed there for the Stereophonics gig at the John Smiths Stadium.
Was looking for quite a while to find accommodation for this event, but everything was either unavailable or at rip off prices [people cashing in on the event] Found this 4 weeks ago, it suddenly appeared on Booking .com
Great value for money.

Close to the town centre
Our room was in the basement where there was no day light. Asked for extra pillows and was told no we couldn’t have them.
On suite , shower excellent
Windows broken, unable to shut one
If you wanted breakfast ( full English) expected to eat in bedroom, no table and chairs to sit at
Location and Staff very friendly.
A large number of rooms in the hotel were used by the council to house people, which we did not realise until we checked in.
Room was a good size very clean the shower was lovely

Some of the guests were questionable. There were a lot of screaming and swearing and doors being slammed late at night.
Door slamming made it difficult to sleep
