Great choice for families and people travelling through!
Pros:

Great on-site facilities, we all loved the use of the gym, pool, sauna and spa.

Cons:

The rooms are a little dated and we had a leaking tap in one room, but overall we are clean and tidy.

We stayed in one of the rooms in the main building, which I highly recommend. I really liked the decor, the lighting and the beds were very comfortable. The layout in the apartment style room was perfect for travelling with kids as well as the separate toilet and spa bath. The vegetarian options at emberz restaurant were fabulous. I used to live in Invercargill and overlooked the Ascot as it appeared a bit retro from the outside, but the interior was very tasteful and great value for money. The staff were fantastic, so professional and friendly, particularly in the housekeeping and restaurant.
