Pros:

I loved everything about Hotel Toro. The owners were so helpful and very friendly. Made me and my son Welcome. The rooms were extra spotless and cleaned again every day. Breakfast inside or outside. Great cappuccino and orange tart. Plus bonus it is right in the middle of the town of Ravello. Everything just steps away from the hotel's front door. Will be back next year!!

Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Avoid room 7: the view is of a wall and the bathroom has no window

The location was excellent. Right in the centre of Ravello. There are a few steps to climb to get inside the hotel. The room was comfortable. A nice firm bed. Staff were very friendly. A nice terrace to eat breakfast. Room was cleaned everyday. Lots of fresh and fluffy towels.

Cons:

Sadly we didn't have a good view from our room, just the view of a wall. I think ours may be the only room in the hotel (room 7) without a view. A shame as we stayed for a week. Our bathroom had no window, just a very small square of glass which took light from the next room's bathroom which was full of natural light as it was facing the open sky with a window. The wifi connection was only working in reception, very poor in the room or outside on terrace. The bathroom could have done with some more hooks for towels etc. Old fashioned hose-style hairdryer which gets incredibly hot after a minute or two.
