Esans Hotel - Special Class

Staff was helpful. Location is excellent, walkable to most of the attractions in the old town. Free Turkish breakfast is a plus.
The property itself has some character and charm, but is a bit dated. We have no hot water for one night.

Beautiful hotel ..great service by the front office especially Byram. Great location very accessible to all the historical sites.

5 minutes from the waterfront in one direction, 10 minutes from Hague Sophia and the Blue Mosque in the other.

Transit easily reachable in a 10-15 minute walk.

Despite being so close to the very crowded square, the street around the hotel is very peaceful, with staggered streets that make it quiet and calm when you come back from being out.

Staff were very friendly and helpful (thank you so much for carrying my bags up and down the stairs!).

There is no lift, which after a long day walking up and down the hills of Istanbul would have been nice, but this is the only teeny negative I could say.

Will definitely stay here again and have already suggested to friends!!

We have stayed few nights with my daughters, this hotel is very close to most visited places in Istanbul like Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapy palace etc. Less than 10 minutes walk everything.
Staffs are very very helpful, they arranged early check in for us. They cleaned rooms everyday without asking. Breakfast very good. We will visit again and stay there.

It is nice and silent. Good breakfast.
There are not enough parking spaces but you get a good deal in a garage nearby.

Esans was clean and cozy and that staff was friendly and helpful. The location is unbeatable for exploring the Sultanahmet neighborhood and all of the sites/amenities of the old city.

Amazing front desk 24 hour service ✅ they arranged our transport with fixed rates do we knew what we were paying for taxi. The airport pick up was tricky since we got delayed but they accommodated us and it’s a big Mercedes van. Overall, I would say good for what you pay for. I would stay here again.

I was really pleased and very happy with this hotel. The front desk folks were always kind and chatty with us and were more than happy to offer any services and/or answer questions.

Breakfast was FABULOUS! Great variety of food and they slightly changed it up every day. There was even chocolate cake one morning, come on? Chocolate cake? YES PLEASE!!

The room was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice. Great overall experience with a Bed and Breakfast small hotel feel to it. Big fan.

Also, the main touristy activities such as Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque and Sultan Palace was less than 10 minutes walking so a great deal and a great way to save money.

The front desk worker was very kind and helpful and they helped us book tickets to fun events. Great location for walking anywhere.

The beds are not super comfortable. My brother and I shared a room with two twin beds. He is about 6'3 and he found the bed slightly small and the mattresses were a little firm.

Also, keep in mind that they don't have maids or janitors available 24 hours a day so you may have to clean up messes yourself. (My brother and I got sick so we had to clean up vomit ourselves) If you are travelling with kids this may be something to consider.

Not wheelchair accessible at all. Expect to carry luggage up and down stairs or ask the front desk to help you.

Great location. Rooms were very nicely lit with big windows and comfy beds. But the AC was not up to par unfortunately. Took a couple hours to cool, other than that everything was great. Would probably stay here again if we get a different room with better AC.

For the price and location, can't really complain. Also, Tan was a great host and very accommodating.

Great location - walking distance to everything. Very nice staff. I especially enjoyed breakfast made by Sabohat-- awesome home cooked food, welcoming attitude, outstanding customer service. Rooms are pretty small, but cute.
