Really enjoyed our stay here and couldn’t fault other than the restaurant near the beach.
Pros:

We lived this hotel. The staff at front desk were always hospital, the rooms and garden were beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was fantastic.

Cons:

The only thing that lets the place down is the restaurant near the pool/beach. Firstly it was way overpriced for the quality of food. The staff down there were inattentive and we couldn’t seem to get their attention even though they weren’t busy. The staff in other parts of the hotel were excellent. We went here once on the first night but didn’t return.

Very Good
Pros:

Got a good rate. Large rooms. Colonial style hotel not a high rise block. On the beach. Pool and fitness facilities and the breakfast is really good. Location near tamarind and cicada markets for cheap food nearby. Much better here than in one of those overpriced 30 storey tower block hotels.

Cons:

The chains on the bicycles guests can use outside reception are rusty and need some oil.
