The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size.
Golden Sea Hotel is in a wonderful location with easy walking access to LK Metro, Avenue Shopping Mall, street markets and a 10 Baht bus that runs past the door.
The staff are efficient and the rooms are clean.

Dusche völlig veraltet, im Handwaschbecken kommt kaum Wasser raus es ist fast unmöglich sich die Hände zu waschen. Ich hatte mit Frühstück gebucht aber es war eine einzige Katastrophe. Wir sind gegen 9 Uhr zweimal zum Frühstück gegangen aber fast alle Tische waren nicht nutzbar weil niemand das benutze Geschirr abgeräumt hatte. Die letzten 3Tage bin ich dann mit meiner Frau dann außerhalb essen gegangen. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Hotel für Europäer nucht geeignet!!!
Ich habe nichts gegen Inder unsw.wenn sie sich sauber verhalten. Nie wieder dieses Hotel. Wir haben uns auch bei der Rezeption beschwert aber es kam nicht
mal eine Entschuldigung.
The hotel was very good but let down by a very inefficient receptionist who seemed more in need of getting rid of us rather than a welcome greeting.
Have never felt more mistreated than any other hotel.
Hotel is good for what you pay. Rooms are large and cleaned every day. Staff are very friendly. Just a shame that some of the Indian people can be very loud speaking especially in the small hours.
Pros: Good hotel and very good location. Room cleaning was good. Breakfast provided.
Cons: Reception staff were not friendly, lack of customer service skills. Breakfast was ok. Shower in the tub was not placed well, bit awkward to use.
Great 16 days in Golden Sea Hotel, nice location , pretty much central to everything. Room was fine, maid service was fantastic. Would certainly stay here again...

I honestly don’t make reviews for anything but from check-in. To check out has been smooth housekeeping was perfect every day will be back here too very same location in couple months
The room was big and sort of clean. Floor was dusty and hair on the bed when we got in. The bathroom was disgusting and I had to clean the shower before I could even use it! The bed was very hard and mattress felt thin and could feel the bed springs. Had to ask for more than one pillow each and wasn’t allowed a second key for my husband meaning as I went back early I had to stay up to let him back in the room!! The hairdryer blew up in my hand giving me a shock and I had to throw it in the sink!! The bathroom was absolutely disgusting filthy and the toilet didn’t flush very well at all.
Their English wasn’t very good at all so trying to explain you had an electric shock was a challenge!!
Was supposed to be a deluxe room nothing deluxe about it at all!! Not worth the money for it and would not stay here again.
reception staff miserable or not very helpful
It's within a few minutes walk or just 10-20 baht ride to virtually anywhere from Terminal 21 to Walking Street. Food and entertainment all around.

On the first day of our stay hotel reception staff made my wife pay for our 5 year old sons breakfast.
We had booked for 2 Adults and 1 child paying for the grand delux room.
I complained to Expedia at the time about the extra charge, after this we were not asked to pay again.
The payment ofcourse was in cash and i had the feeling the reception staff were running some kind of scam.
The room seemed no different from the superior room but we paid a lot more for it.
Would of been better if had balcony
