Pros:

Great room, comfy bed, yummy breakfast. Had a great time. Slept great, really enjoyed the room

Cons:

The shower glass could of been a bit longer to avoid water splashing outside of it.
The entrance to the carpark was SCAREY, so squishy and tight, would be ok with teeny tiny car.

Had such a wonderful stay, location is amazing as a short walk to two tram stations.
Pros:

The staff was very helpful, kind and attentive to all our needs.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the room was nice, but just make a note of general dusting of countertops, the bottom of the hanging closet, and the storage space underneath the sink.

OK apart from being overcharged,
Pros:

Checking in,room service and general facilities were good.

Cons:

I was over charged.
I ordered breakfast for 6 and 7 October when I booked in.
I did have breakfast on 6 October but at approx 6.00pm on 6 October I cancelled my breakfast booking for 7 October as I had to be at a meeting at the Alfred Hospital earlier than expected and would not be able to have breakfast at the Hotel.
I was assured by the Receptionist that my breakfast was cancelled.
I was in a rush on checking out on 7 October and did not check my check out invoice.
I was charged for breakfast on 7 October which I did not have.
I have phoned Hotel Reception twice and was assured this would be corrected and a new invoice would be sent out.
This has not happened.

Disappointing
Cons:

My significant issue with this property is the post departure treatment in relation to the security deposit. In my experience a hotel will put a hold on the credit card, which they release on departure. In this instance my card has ben debited with $101.50. They advised a $100 security deposit and appear to have added a card surcharge, which post 1st October we no longer allowed. They have not refunded the money, and upon enquiry they have said this may take "weeks" for it to come back on to my card. A hold and release approach should have been more than sufficient, the card should not be debited at all and the refund should not takes weeks. I have not had this experience anywhere else and it is not acceptable.

Good stay out of the CBD
Pros:

It was a decent place that was a little away from the city noise, the staff were very accommodating and kind. A small walk away from a tram that connected us to the CBD. The little incentive programs they had in the room when you check in were also quite nice.

Cons:

We had a coughing fit every night we stayed in, we have a feeling that it was because of the smoker that was illegally smoking on their balcony but also we had a lingering mustiness and smoke smell in our carpet by the time we checked in. Unfortunately we had a bad experience with someone smoking an illicit substance nearby but that reflected more on the other people staying at the same time as us than the hotel itself. The staff was able to address the issue as soon as we flagged it. The housekeeping staff weren't as thorough as we hoped or would expect from a four star hotel (wiping down counters, we had two of our pillows left without pillow cases) and were a bit disappointed. Overall, maybe my expectations of a four star hotel is a bit dated with the expectation of robes and slippers but it was a decent stay that blew our next stay in Docklands out of the water.
