Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt, bis auf die Sauberkeit des Zimmers.
Pros:

1. Das Hotel liegt super zentral. 3 Minuten in die City.
2. Das Hotel bzw. die Zimmer sind sehr gut schallisoliert. Wir haben den ganzen Aufenthalt absolut nichts von
anderen Personen im Nebenzimmer, auf dem Gang etc. mitbekommen. Sehr angenehm.
3. Das Bett machte einen sauberen, frischen Eindruck.
4. Bad klein aber funktional mit sehr guter Dusche, leider nicht gut abgedichtet.
4. Das Personal an der Rezeption war bemüht.
5. Frühstück: Preis/Leistung für uns ok, alles was man braucht. Sehr guter frischer Lachs. Filterkaffe.

Cons:

Definitiv die Sauberkeit. Lange schwarze Haare überall im Zimmer verteilt. Vor allem im Bad.
Keine Zimmereinigung über 4 Tage. Es wurden nur frische Handtücher und Toilettenpapier ins Zimmer gelegt.
Für den Preis definitiv nicht angebracht.

Cheap and cheerful stay
Pros:

Great location, cosy rooms, would describe as cheap and cheerful. Cookies in reception were a nice touch

Cons:

The breakfast was a bit of a shambles. One morning the breakfast room was full, almost no food, no bowls, no coffee, and only one staff member doing refills.

Funktionelles Hotel
Pros:

Saubere Unterkunft, gutes Frühstück, kleines Zimmer, gute Lage. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen.

Cons:

Das Fenster ging zum Hinterhof und ließ sich nicht öffnen. Alles relativ spartanisch eingerichtet.

Wonderful stay in Tromsø
Pros:

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and offered a very good breakfast. The location was excellent, situated just a 10-minute walk from the main meeting points for activities. There is a grocery store right across the street and an excellent pizzeria only 50 meters away.

Cons:

The mini fridge was not working properly. It cooled very slowly and probably needs to be replaced.

Great location, stunning view from our room. Comfortable but no fancy frills.
Pros:

A great location in the city centre - on Storgata - one of the main streets - 1 block away from the end of pedestrianised section. This is a reasonable but not fancy hotel, no bells and whistles. However our room (suite 312) met our needs perfectly - a double room with a separate bathroom and living room with sofa bed. And the views across the harbour-side towards the Arctic Cathedral were incredible! To lie in bed and look at that view was absolutely stunning!
The breakfast room had plenty of seats on 2 mornings but not nearly enough on the 3rd morning. The breakfast offering was a continental (cold selection) of breads, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, salads, mini croissants, pancakes, jams, juices, teas and coffee, plus 3 or 4 hot options each day (bacon, scrambled eggs plus beans or sausages or meatballs).

Cons:

A couple of extra comfortable chairs in the bedroom would have been helpful (1 for each guest), as well as some drawers or a proper wardrobe (not just a coat rack and shelves). The double bed had 2 weirdly short, narrow duvets - a proper double duvet, or even 2 regular single duvets, would have been more suitable.
