This was our second stay at Hotel Megalos, and we enjoyed it even more than the first time.
Pros:

One of the highlights was the breakfast. There was an excellent variety of food, and even though we stayed for four nights, we were able to try something different every morning. We stayed in a spacious room with a comfortable double bed and a balcony, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. From the reception team to the breakfast staff and the housekeeping team. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The location is another major advantage. The hotel has easy access to the city centre and is about 15 minutes by car (or around 25 minutes by bus) from the train station. The Dolphinarium is only about 10 minutes away by bus, while the Holiday Village (Satul de vacanță) is around 20 minutes away. Some of Constanța’s cleanest and most beautiful beaches are just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. We always choose this area because the beaches are much less crowded than those in other parts of the city. City Park Mall, the Constanța Casino, and many other attractions are also within easy reach. Another benefit of staying at Hotel Megalos is that Harlequin Terrace is located right next to the hotel, offering a wide variety of freshly prepared meals at very reasonable prices. Overall, Hotel Megalos offers excellent value for money. We had another wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Personalul de la recepție foarte amabil. Camere mari, luminoase, cu așternuturi si prosoape albe, exact ca in poze. Curatenia se face zilnic. Micul dejun a fost acelasi, dar suficiente optiuni incat sa nu te plictisești.

Cons:

În camera, din cauza mochetei probabil, este un miros neplăcut. O combinație de mucegai, transpirație, neaerisit. Noi de fiecare data am lasat usa balconului deschisa pe timpul zilei, dar cand ne am întors de la plaja acelasi "parfum" domina încăperea. Partea bună e că te obișnuiești relativ repede și dispare senzația de miros neplăcut, iar AC ul pornit ajuta la acest lucru.
Pe balcon ar putea fi puse scaune, un uscător de prosoape.
Cartela s-a demagnetizat de câteva ori pe perioada șederii si inca nu am inteles de ce. A fost pusă singura, intr un buzunarel căptușit al genții. Am rezolvat repede la recepție, însă e destul de neplăcut sa ajungi la usa camerei, pe punctul de a face pe tine, si usa sa nu se deschida :(.

Has everything you need, there is a bus stop and minimarket close by. My room had a terrace. A lot of TV channels

Cons:

You have to climb a floor and a half of steps to enter. Furnishing was retro, walls were not very soundproof. Terrace needs proper chairs

Great value for money!
Pros:

The property is very well placed, with bus stations very close and the beach reachable within a 10 min walk. Nextdoor there is a small bakery and a shop. Moreover, the staff was very polite and eager to help. The food was also very good and well made.

Cons:

It would be nice for the breakfast to offer a couple more food options and varieties.
