Doha Dynasty Hotel

I happened to be in Doha by chance, because I had a stopover on the way to Baghdad at Qatar Airways. This big-name hotel was one of the budget alternatives in the old city center. Not far from Waqif metro station. Despite the terrible price at the reception, I lived at a price almost 2 times less: 150 rials or 42 dollars. Although all the rooms in the price list are designated as deluxe and suites, the room was ordinary. Nothing out of the ordinary. It's a little old-fashioned, but maybe it's the local style? It didn't bother me. I didn't pay for breakfast, I ate in the city. The Wi-Fi was working steadily. Well, this is not surprising, Qatar occupies an honorable 25th place in the world in terms of Internet speed, ahead of most European countries...

It was good for short term stay during layover.

The lady from reception she was kind. I forgot to ask her name. The rooms are clean and tidy. All the staff are kind. I will be back to this hotel to stay .the location was perfect. NEAR WITH SOUQ . I t was amazing Thank you so much . 🤩🤩

Excelente custo-benefício. Perto do metrô de Souq Waqif. Quarto grande, com cama boa, internet rápida. O hotel não é novo, mas está OK. Apenas no banheiro, não tinha vedação no box do chuveiro, fazendo com que o chão molhasse todo.

I didn't get enough water for drinking

Went with my daughter. First of all it's a Great location. Near to all the places. Staffs are friendly and helpful. You can feel it's home. They had given a late check out although it was a weekend without any extra charges. Miss Grace from reception you are great. Keep up the good work.

It’s in good location. Smell of the cigarette in the rooms were terrible. Changed room once but no luck. Could not sleep the whole night.

Room was not cleaned beforehand even though this was supposed to be as this is a quarantine place. There were COCKROACHES roaming around freely in the living room. The customer service wasn't good either. Would not recommend to anyone.

No one will support you but cockroaches will always be with you. Washrooms are in very pathetic condition.
There is neither comfortable chair to sit nor center table. In short, consider it as Lodge and not a Hotel

Reception was never i sow like that after no one great me room was very bad service better if managed if they are working PLS check your room internet wosh room it was no hot water 🤦‍♂️ i was asked housekeeping slippers he give me old one when i ask he told me he have only this if someone used already how come they can give new guests everything you can say ok but i can’t accept this ..in the room AC it’s was much noise .. I hope if management working can you attend this problems thank you for the staff and management

Had a bad experience here. The staff in reception or the other staff, all were not professional or friendly with us.

There is nothing called house keeping, or room service here. No towels, toiletries kept. Bed for 2 but only one towel given for use.
The restaurant has no relation to the hotel. Even for complimentary breakfast for which we paid during booking, they didn't allow first. After fighting for it, they said for only one person first, later allowed for 2 but only 40 reals to be used on free food. The food was most pathetic too. We didn't go to the restaurant side after that.

Overall a very bad experience.

I checked out after two days of stay. The bathroom had leaking basin, which made entire bathroom floor dirty. No curtains in shower so water splashes everywhere. The mini fridge had no cooling because of the fridge door not closing properly. The furniture layout was wrong, the television was on the side of a bed. Internet never worked well in the room. Avoid it, if you can. The staff is not at all courteous or co-operating. waste of money and spoiling of mood and holiday.

If you will think about money it's the cheapest rate in doha when I booked..it's fair enough for money ..

Construction very close to the room window so you have to wake up when they start work :) very noisy

The hotel dosent have proper room service they dont give tovels and no good services
Room size are good and my room was quiet
Location is good and near to many places but i do prefer next time go to another place becuase you dont muss the place at all
Breakfast is only induan and there is no buffet to choose
You have limit of 20 rials from menu

We stayed one night because we cancelled after being there for 5 hours. There were no towels and the bathroom was dirty. We had free cancellation and yet it took a month and my husband going to the hotel on 4 occasions to get our money back and even then they did not give the proper amount.

It's location near the bank street and the famous souq nearby. Saravana Bhavan restaurant is just a minutes walk. First floor has an indian restaurant which is convenient for getting food round the clock.

I could've read first these reviews before spending a day on the said hotel, we have issues on this said hotel yet the staff just send a person to check on the Television, after fixing the remote was not functioning, they put us on the back side, where there is a construction going on, to think that maybe if the hotel was not that busy they could've at least transferred us. Worst. The guy on the front desk, please you're working on front, so be an example, cause you represent..
