Excellent hotel for a comfortable stay
Pros:

Hotel value for money rooms large and very clean comfortable bed with fluffy pillows smelt fresh and clean bathroom spacious clean very modern with lovely complimentary small bottles of body wash coffee and tea and hot chocolate and plenty of fruit flavour teas in room hairdryer in room there was everything available for a comfortable stay staff was friendly and efficient we ate in the restaurant food was of amazing quality outstanding breakfast also was outstanding excellent hotel .

Cons:

There was nothing that we did not like in this hotel would highly recommend a stay here.

Very convenient for a one night stay for a family event near Dorchester!
Cons:

The immediate surroundings outside the hotel are a bit scruffy and not ideal for a walk! The hotel itself inside, was great and friendly and helpful staff.

Terrible beds, dubious cleaners, and it felt more like a care home than a hotel. The whole place was disappointing.
Pros:

Cheap hotel. Decent size room.

Cons:

The bed was shockingly bad to sleep on and we got no sleep. HORROR STORY - We checked out of the hotel on time and left the room clean, with only a quarter bottle of wine left on the table. Despite this, we later received an email claiming the bottle was left on the bed and that we had caused damage to the room. We were then charged £375, even though the room for two nights was only £170. The hotel increased the daily policy rate to £130, with the remainder listed as a cleaning charge, which we strongly believe was unfair and unfounded. The manager and reception also appeared to give inconsistent accounts when raising the issue, which only added to our frustration. Overall, the experience felt more like a scam to replace their brick mattresses than a genuine service, and I would not recommend staying here. If you do stay, take pictures of the room before you leave.

Quiet, clean and comfortable
Pros:

Breakfast was very good, great choice, quickly served by very efficient staff. Room was very comfortable with a well stocked hospitality tray. Quiet location. Easy to reach.

Cons:

The entrance to the hotel and the car park could be better, it looked a bit like and industrial area. There's no shelf in the shower to put shampoo and shower gel on, had to put on the floor.

Cons:

I found the bed uncomfortable, also the pillows. All too hard for my liking but my husband was fine with it so I suppose it’s just personal choice .
