A lot of noise from outside even though the room was on the 12th floor.
Poor lighting in the room.
The ding from the elevator could be heard in the room.

Fridge not working. Very old TV.

The hotel was great. Wifi was good which was important. For me while travelling for work. The gym was also large and well equipped. Breakfast had lots of choice both Western and Chinese. Most of the staff speak strong or good enough English to communicate with English speaking guests. I always stay at the Sheraton in Tianjin!!

Had a short stay at the hotel and everything worked great. The facilities was okay for the price, nothing too exciting, but the staff was friendly which made it a pleasant experience.

I had a great stay. The hotel was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable. As a non-Chinese business traveler, the staff were kind and helpful. The area was good. There is a mall across the street with lots of food options. It is over an hour from the airport but if you are okay with that, it is a great place to stay.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. I did not have breakfast there so I could not comment on it but there are many good restaurants around.

I was here one night waiting for some friends to arrive. What a wonderful hotel and staff. The feel, the location. All of it. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

We love going to Sheratons all across China because of their great attention to detail and customer service. This location was not a disappointment, the staff made you feel liked valued customers and we really enjoyed our stay. There is a park near by and also a mall with a lot of food choices.

Not the usual sheraton experience- a bit small the rooms... but comfy

We stayed at the Sheraton Tianjin Banhai Hotel one night prior to a cruise. Upon arrival, we were greeted by very helpful staff who spoke English well enough to communicate (and we wished that we could speak Manderin to make the process even more helpful!). The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the Tianjin cruise port. The night manager was not sure where the port was located but he investigated the situation for us and lined up a driver the following morning. He was very kind and we really appreciated his hard work on our behalf. The staff could not have been better. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and a great sports bar. Order the vegetarian wrap -- I've never tasted anything better!! The shower in our room was amazing, too. We loved it.

It's not Beijing-class, but the Sheraton Tianjin Binhai is the best option in town. The gym is good and the pool is quite nice. Restaurants are good, but try the nearby "Irish" pub or the sports bars down the street. Service was great and the room was quite sufficient. Don't bother with the club level - the lounge is simply not worth it.
