Pros:

I liked the location and the staff. It's in close proximity to food, entertainment and the subway.

Great location for exploring Harlem and Morningside
Pros:

Excellent location for attending a conference at Columbia University. Wide variety of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Without the chaos of Midtown or Downtown.

Comfortable, Quiet, and Convenient — With a Few Issues
Pros:

Comfortable bed, hotel was quiet - you could not hear the people in other rooms, and barely those in the hallway. Reasonably priced and a good variety of items in the hotel lobby, along with a microwave. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Bus service is within a few blocks. Lots of restaurants and stores are a block away. I would stay here again if in the area.

Cons:

We had problems with the TV, sound cutting out on broadcast TV, which they were unable to resolve. We also had a few days of water-temperature issues, an anti-scald issue in the shower, and no cold water in the sink. They tried to fix it, but thanks to my engineer husband, we figured that if you ran the sink and turned on the shower, the anti-scald would finally kick in. The heat also didn't work. They sent up an engineer quickly and resolved it in a few mins. We had to ask them to bring new towels and make the bed after a few days (we stayed 5 nights). We were on the major street side with a police station kitty-corner to the hotel. We heard sirens frequently in the evening. No microwaves in rooms and no ice maker on the floor. They have bags of ice in the lobby freezer.

Pros:

The people at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. The extra parking lot is across the street. The lobby had a small store with a nice selection of food and drinks options. My daughter loved the music theme and the pie number theme window shades.

Cons:

From the moment we walked in, the first room we were given had a terrible smell. We find out it was because of a broken toilet that had apparently been used and didn't work to flush anymore. Then, we were given another room which was a double queen instead of a king like we reserved. That room's bathroom door didn't close all of the way. Also, it had 3 light switches - one for the bathroom, one for the master and one for the bedroom - however, only one light switch worked all the lights in the room. When someone got up in the night to use the bathroom they had to turn on all of the lights in the room and wake up people and the same with early in the morning. The bed was not very comfortable either.
