Disappointing and will not return.
Pros:

Location was near to Queensbay and HSBC bank.

Cons:

It did not feel like. 4 star property. We usually stay at G Hotel in Gurney which is significantly better in terms of service, facilities and cleanliness.
The staff seemed not properly trained and not very welcoming whether it was the front counter, the restaurant, the lounge or the Spa. All seemed like we were bothering them by asking anything,

The property in general (inside the hotel and surrounding area outside) and room seem a bit run down and old. We were also told we could not get more water than 6 small bottles in the room despite having paid extra for a deluxe sea view room. I thought that was a bit petty of the hotel. Also the shower and shampoo smells cheap and home made or something. Just a disappointing stay on several counts and as a regular visitor to Penang, I wanted to run not walk back to G Hotel.
