Friendly, warm and inviting pub with great food and atmosphere. Great option for Thames Parh walkers. Room was comfortab
Pros:

Fantastically helpful and friendly staff. Very good food. Warm and inviting bar. Large bedroom and bathroom.

Cons:

They didn't have our booking - but managed to find us a room. But the room was cold even with the heating on.

A wonderful place to stay after completing some of the Thames Path.
Pros:

An excellent welcome; a very comfortable room after a long days walk; very good supper with dairy and wheat free option available. Very friendly staff. Thank you!

Nice place for an overnight stay in a quaint town
Pros:

Excellent location for walkers doing the Thames Path. We were made to feel welcome, and the bar had some excellent beer. Our room was large with a comfortable bed, an efficient shower over the bath and everything we needed for an overnight stay. We ate in the pub in the evening, which was OK, but it was a hot evening and some lighter options would have gone down well.

Cons:

We would have liked breakfast, but knew in advance that this was not on offer, and were able to find somewhere close by easily enough. Internet connection not too good.

Pros:

Perfect location for the Thames path.
Really nice pub with its own brewery! Beautiful pub garden. Friendly staff. Cricklade is pretty and has all you need in terms of shops and restaurants.
Room was huge! Big bathroom too with a bath. Very nice furniture in the bedroom. Enormous bed. Well equipped.
Very comfortable.

Cons:

When we arrived, staff were not aware of our booking, despite me phoning in advance to confirm arrival time. Luckily there was a room available and another member of staff stepped in to help and was very friendly. We didn't have to wait.

Room smelled damp and had windows which didn't open fully to ventilate it. Floor a bit dirty.

Great staff in struggling hotel
Pros:

Very helpful staff in bar and restaurant - really good. However an ordinary room but horribly grubby stairs in the Common areas.

Cons:

Horribly grubby carpets on the stairs. For too hot. Delivery woke us up at 5.30am.

Fabulous pub for a short stay
Pros:

A fabulous pub to stay in. Great location and really spacious and clean room with everything you need provided. The staff were excellent and also has a lovely bar and restaurant area to eat with excellent food. I would highly recommend this lovely pub. ☺️
