Excellent hotel, worth a visit
Pros:

We have been many times to the Tariq and enjoyed our holiday. The staff are helpful and the hotel excels in cleanliness. The menu is small but well priced and very good. The location, ticks all our boxes. Ideal to walk to Torremolinos, easy to get to Malaga for shopping and airport.
The beach is across the road, which is not a busy main road. They are lots of individual restaurants on the sea front.
You can hire a cycle bike, with a safe cycle path on the sea front.
This is a small hotel with a lovely garden and swimming pool, with a balcony for sun bathing and looking out to sea.

Cons:

I don't like to moan about the Tariq, but for me, the mattress is very hard. My husband slept fine. But I was not on my own, because a French lady had the same problem and moved to another room.
My sister and her husband had a lovely holiday at the Tariq, but they said the beds were very hard to sleep on.
It's a shame, cause the rest of the hotel is excellent.

Everything was good except pool area.
Pros:

Hotel is in very good location. Room was clean and comfortable, food was good, lovely restaurant within hotel, personal is kind, friendly and supportive. Good size swimming pool.

Cons:

I didn’t like the area around the pool - the grass and ground was wet and damp and somewhat slippery. Sun loungers are old and some are broken.
There is nobody monitoring what is going on in the swimming pool. There were a lot of children screaming, playing ball in the pool and not respecting others. Also there in the pool was a mother with a child and the child was wearing outdoor clothes and even a shoes on and it felt disgusting as we are supposed to shower before entering the pool and not come in dressed and wearing outdoor shoes.

Definately would return
Pros:

Great location, with direct beach and promenade access. Good food in the restaurant, and fairly priced. Would visit again. No racing for sunbeds, which was good to see, they were available at anytime of the day...

Short break to relax in the sun.
Pros:

Modern decor, very clean though out and comfortable beds. Plenty of sun loungers. Good breakfast selection. Friendly helpful staff. Perfect location opposite the beachfront. Highly recommend your lovely hotel and we would definitely return thanks.
The courtesy room was also brilliant on our last day as we had a late flight and had spent the day by the pool. We were provided with fresh towels and showers gel.

Cons:

We would only like to suggest area for improvement and this by no means us complaining and we would like to say we would recommend your lovely hotel.
The grass area around the pool would be better replaced with the fake grass they have on the upper terraces.
It would be good if somewhere to hang wet swimsuits and towels was installed on the balcony’s.

A lovely place to rest !
Pros:

Lovely location, plenty of sunbeds and not crowded in the little pool. Perfect place to rest !

Cons:

Very limited with breakfast choices.
Intermittent hot and cold water shower at our room, not sure why.

Var okej men inte helt nöjd.
Pros:

Läget var bra. Nära till allt.Sängar och kuddar var super bekväma. Det städades varje dag . Samt pool på innergården var jätte mysigt.Hotellet har eget restaurang och bar där man kunde beställa mat eller drickor vilket vi gjorde.

Cons:

Trots att vi betalade extra för att gå frukost så var vi jätte besvikna på frukost. Utbud på grönsaker och frukt var liten. Saknade även proccuto. Äggröra smakade hemsk så vi åt inte alls det.Stekta ägg serverades inte alla dagar. Det fanns ingen kokt ägg alls.yoghurt de hade bara en sorts dom smakade också äckligt och gick inte att äta. Kaffe från maskinen var hemsk att det gick inte heller dricka. Sämsta frukost som vi haft på det hotell jämfört med andra hotell.
Rekommenderar inte köpa frukost . Istället köp frukost på andra stället som ligger i närheten.
Prisen var för högt jämfört kvalité på frukost . Inte värd det.
