Fantastic location. Think overpriced for what we paid.
Pros:

Great location within walking distance of lots of bars, restaurants, Cavern club and the docks.

Cons:

Very noisy with work being done in the hotel. Drilling and hammering very early in the morning. The room was a little tired looking and the pillows had seen much better days.

Looks very appealing online. Carpets look like need cleaning. Car parking needs to be made clearer

The location was good, near to bars and where we needed to be.

Cons:

Hair clip in bathroom on the floor as soon as we arrived, don’t feel it had been cleaned properly. Also cups in room had tea and sugar remains so not cleaned properly. No air con. Plugs in room didn’t work, lights kept flickering. Work is being done at the hotel so banging started at 9am. Not made aware of this till you arrive

Pros:

I have stayed lots of times it is ‘go to’ hotel if I need to stay in Liverpool City Centre

Lots of potential but one of those places where I think it would be cheaper to go for wknd abroad

Staff were very friendly and room itself was huge. Central location, nice breakfast.

Cons:

I honestly think the price point is very high if they're unable to do anything in future regarding soundproofing the room given its location to bar below and surrounding bars. Granted we stayed during a heatwave but this combined with sound made the first night of two a really poor sleep. Attention to some basic details would also help align with the price point and (large) size of room on offer (eg quality mattress and pillows, general maintenance re wear and tear on bedframe, dripping tap, more hooks for bathroom towel). £100 security deposit and security/ID checks for all guests were also a bit excessive.

Great hotel at a great location for a great price
Pros:

Great location! The size of the rooms were great as well! The layout and the decorations were fantastic. 

Cons:

The beds were quite hard for my liking… But that’s just a personal preference
