Fantastic location with amazing views. The room was very accommodating. Breakfast in the room was great…and no extra charge.
They didn’t clean the room during our stay or make the bed. Parking was a problem. Not free and a bit far away.

We expected from experience that our room would be cleaned during our 4 night stay. It was not cleaned once!

Great location. Pleasant staff.
Big room but too dark. No heating working, radiators in room but no heat. No windows or forced ventilation in bathroom. Breakfast served in bar lounge where all tables are high stool tables or benches, no standard seating for persons with limited mobility.

Fantastic location, but incredibly noisy. Not the best place to stay if you want to sleep before 2am.

Location Nice size room , nice view over the streets.
Not enough lights in the room, very dark, heating didn’t come on in the morning quite chilly .
We stayed in Room 102 which is in fact a small suite. Kingsize comfortable bed. Large bathroom with bathtub and shower over. Seating area with sofa, TV, dining table & chairs, dressing table with large mirror over. Quirky but comfortable and very reasonably priced. A residents bar with friendly and helpful staff.

Cold. Said heat would come on. It never did. They did give us a space heater. Said towel rack comes on automatically. It never did. False floor was VERY squeaky. Lights only in the bedroom area. No lights in table and couch area. Vacuuming was only in the middle, but not on the edges. Won't go back.

The hotel is in a very convenient, central location. The suite we were allocated was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Linens were good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Traffic noise started around 5.00 am. I don't know whether it is possible to soundproof the windows as the building is very old. Breakfast is a very limited choice.

The location and the size of the room.
I arrived a couple of hours before check in and the desk was unmanned and therefore I couldn’t get in the building. There was a number on the door but it took a while to get through. A cleaner let me in and she was friendly and helpful. I was able to leave a small bag.
The location was excellent for what we wanted to do and see.
The details and photos of hotel were not a fair reflection of the reality. It is not a 4 star hotel. We paid for an Executive King Suite and our room was not as depicted. No balcony and a woeful shower over the bath. Special request for sheets and blankets not actioned as promised. Breakfast menu had to be ordered the day before and time agreed so no flexibility. No restaurant so ate in our room. Chairs too low for the table. Parking advertised but it’s actually an 8 minute walk away. The small bar area was incredibly noisy and busy …. Or empty! Staff were polite and it’s obviously not their fault for the misrepresentation in advertising. Booking.com should give more clarity and ensure that details are more honest and transparent. We started our short break feeling very frustrated by having to express and explain to the single member of staff available our feelings of disappointment.
