The location and size of the room
The cooked breakfast sausages were not cooked through. The lighting in the room was quite dim

The location of the hotel was fantastic. We had a double suite and it exceeded our expectations. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable you could possibly wish for, the staff were so friendly and helpful.. We had a lovely stay at this hotel and will most definitely return when we visit Liverpool again. The decor of this small hotel is top class,well done to all involved in this boutique hotel.

Very central, have everything you need in the room (hair dryer, iron, ironing board, kettle, vanity etc) the staff were excellent and go above and beyond. Breakfast was delicious, I enjoyed the view and were able to sit at the windowsill and people watch. The shops and liverpool one are right around the corner. And the docks are a 10 minute walk. 24 hour bar which we defo would’ve made more use of if we had a longer stay. Also very aesthetic, detailing of everything is amazing. Beautiful staircase and the ambiance of the room as someone who prefers dim lights was perfect. Everything was better than I imagined and for an amazing price.

Characterful room
Insufficient heat as the radiator in the room (305) needed bleeding. Also, although I am a heavy sleeper, I was woken for much of the night by a noisy mechanical heating and ventilation system in ducting at ceiling level.
The room was fabulous, having been upgraded to a King Suite. Beautiful bathroom. Lovely staff. Great location within walking distance of the Liver Bird buildings and the atmospheric Albert Dock. Excellent bijou hotel with beautiful decor and lovely pictures. Fantastic value for money.

Erm the shower head would be better as an adjustable hose but I get the style is good. Sink could be higher, given I have a bad back.
The property is always spotless, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! Ideal location on Castle Street with plenty of restaurants and bars on the doorstep!
