Monte da Bravura Green Resort

Spectacular location with amazing views easy to drive into town for restaurants and supermarkets etc the owner was very friendly.
Like a previous person said the rooms were comfortable but couldn’t say you we’re sleeping on a cloud, this is possibly a general thing you find across mainland Europe as most of the places we stayed over our trip had firm mattresses and I’m used to a medium mattress .
Just a note ,Some of the photos show breakfast but they don’t offer that any more, however there is a fridge and microwave in the rooms with some plates and cutlery.

This was one of the best hotel stays of my life. The atmosphere was authentic - in part due to the sweet and caring owner.

The view is amazing, and the hotel is the perfect place to unplug. Be aware, that restaurants are 10 minutes away by car.

Das Hotel Mote Bravura Green Resort liegt etwas abseits auf einem Hügel, d.h. ein Auto ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Es ist sehr ruhig und hat einen schönen Garten. Fernando ist ein wunderbarer, vielsprachiger Gastgeber und nimmt sich bei Bedarf viel Zeit für gute Empfehlungen.
Ein weiteres Highlight ist das Frühstück mit vielen frischen Früchten und Produkten.
Auch hat uns die Philosophie des Hauses mit dem Fokus auf Nachhaltigkeit / Umweltbewusstsein gefallen. Dies findet man in der Tourismus-Branche leider noch viel zu selten.
Nicht alle Zimmer haben das gleiche Baujahr. Wir hatten ein älteres, das recht klein und einfach eingerichtet war – nicht ganz der Preiskategorie entsprechend.
Trotzdem haben wir eine herrliche Zeit erlebt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Très bel établissement, très bon petit déjeuner, chambre confortable mais nous avons réservé pour 3 avec un enfant de 8 ans pour deux jours. Or nous avons été accueillis en nous expliquant que les réservations étaient de 3 jours minimum, que les enfants de moins de 12 ans n'étaient pas autorisés et que nous devions payer 25% en plus pour un enfant, ce que nous n'avons pas fait.

Tres bonne adresse dans un lieux paisible et calme.
L environnement de cet hotel est superbe.
Le proprietaire est tres sympathique et propose de multiples activites et visites dans la region. Il parle 5 langues dont le francais.
La qualité du petit déjeuner est exceptionnelle.
Le seul petit reproche serait la qualite de la chambre et de la literie avons eu qui ne sont pas en adequation avec le prix de la nuit.

Con mio marito, abbiamo soggiornato al Monte da Bravura per una breve vacanza in Algarve.
Un bed&breakfast sulle colline a 10 Km da Lagos, dove il signor Fernando ti accoglie come fossi parte della sua famiglia e così ti fa sentire per tutta la permanenza.
Panorama rilassante per gli occhi e per il cuore, dove riposare dopo una giornata sulle spiagge e/o una serata nel vivo centro di Lagos.
Al mattino, Fernando e la sua signora ti coccolano con una colazione favolosa, a base di dolci casalinghi, frutta fresca locale e tanto altro, in una sala della casa padronale che é un vero e proprio piccolo museo di arte contadina.
Impossibile non lasciare in questo luogo un pezzetto di cuore!

Super leuk hotel. Prachtig gelegen, relaxed. En Fernando, de eigenaar weet allemaal leuke plekjes om naartoe te gaan.

Someone looking to be right in the middle of the action will not prefer this place nor will someone who needs to have a fancy room or bed that feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. Someone who wants an amazing place to stay, with a fantastic view and magnificently delicious buffer breakfast, this is your place. The owner (Fernando) and his wife were amazing hosts and really left me with no choice but to give a 5 star rating. They take so much pride in their hotel and it is clear that they want you to have the best possible stay there. Fernando arranged a boat tour of the grotto in Lagos (highly recommend by the way) and provided a list of excellent restaurants (not the ones tourists will know about) and "hidden" beaches. Rooms were fairly minimal and beds were okay. Will definitely stay here again. A+++
