So enjoyed our stay . Would be even better with a light bites bar menu for the evening in addition to full dinner menu

The pre booking of evening meal
The staff were friendly and helpful especially Nadia, she bent over backwards as it was my friends birthday and produced a surprise cake and candle etc during our meal. The hotel felt comfy, homely and safe the food was excellent. The spa facilities were fine, a little dated but it was all good. The view from the hotel was spectacular.
We did have a little wait in the restaurant during the evening meal but the staff did apologise for that. The bathroom in our room was a little dated and a light fitting was broken in our room but was due to be fixed.

My complaint ignored
Beautiful location, nice pool and the staff were really friendly. The room I had was huge with really comfortable bed. Nice to have areas which were dog friendly and my dog loved his sausage treat at breakfast
Is dated, decor/furniture could do with a refresh. It was really hot when I stayed and the fan provided did little to help but I had brought my own so not a huge problem.

Fish and chips dinner was good. View across the road stunning. The drive up to the hotel was beautiful with the old growth trees.
Beds were absolutely horrible. probably 40 years old, very lumpy and very squeeky every time you moved at all. Shower had mold. Breakfast was 🫣. Smoked salmon very fishy, coffee press for 2 had 1 teaspoon of coffee. We ate soon after somewhere else

At night the garden floodlight was a bit bright for sleeping
It was a very hot period and no aircon in room but hotel did put 2 fans in to keep it as cool as possible. Breakfast was brilliant and the hotel itsel and grounds were very pleasant
Only lack of aircon but 99% of time it wouldnt be an issue
