Overall experience is excellent. I was on level 8. The view is great. My kids love swimming in the pool. The only downside is the lifts are very busy during peak time. Most of lifts are full so have to wait for ages.

This is our 3rd time staying at Meriton surfers paradise. We have been coming here for our anniversary for the past 3 years. We have also booked again for hubby's birthday in December. 😁

We like that Meriton is not in the riff raff in the heart of sufers but it's also not to far away from everything.

We have found the staff to always be polite and helpful. This time we had one of the helpful staff show us a few rooms to help make our room selection easier for our next visit.

Our room was dirty. The floor hadn't been cleaned, we could see dried, dirty footprints, hairs etc. on the floor. There was part of what looked like a tampon wrapper next to the bin in the bathroom. When we left our room we mentioned it and were told housekeeping would vacuum and mop it.
The bathroom was another matter. It is in need of a deep clean.

The mirror was dirty.
The fan was non existent so you couldn't see your reflection unless you defogged it with the hair dryer.
The tiles, were dirty the grout disgusting. Gunk around the inside of the basin sink.
There's a sort of chrome knob on the floor near the shower which has years of filth built up around it. Quite disgusting.
We thought the view was fantastic! The amenities good.
The TV set up is a bit 2015. It's painful having to go through the rigmarole of casting all the time and only having live tv in the bedroom? What's that about?

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Meriton Surfers Paradise. For the high price we paid for 5 nights, the room was absolutely not worth it. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find blood all over the outside of the main bedroom bathroom toilet bowl. We had to call three times before it was properly cleaned, which is completely unacceptable.

On top of this, the overall cleanliness of the apartment was very poor, there were food stains on the blinds and floor mat, cupboards had spills and marks that hadn’t been cleaned, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in weeks. Travelling with our 9-month-old baby, we expected a much higher standard of hygiene and care, especially given the cost.

Unfortunately, this experience has left us very disappointed, and we will not be staying at Meriton Surfers Paradise again.

receptionist who helped me to check in was very friendly, please give him completment, room was very clean tidy, appreciate about card and bottle of drink, we celebrated well our first anniversary and my partner really loved to stay. will visit again, hope everyone stay well :)
