The people.. atmosphere
The man in front of the desk discussing his inheritance with who he was on the phone with . There's a time and place.
I like the hotel but what i didn't like was what Booking App did. They will show you superior room in the picture but when you arrive they will give you a double queen room and tell you that since Booking is a 3rd party they sent my reservation as that and they have no other rooms available of course.

Loved the room we stayed in! It was perfect for my family of 5 just passing through. Plenty of room to so reading out and relax after driving many hours. The separate seating area was great. Kids had fun at the pool too!

Overall proximity to University - reason for trip
The room i booked through Booking.com was not honored by the hotel… the hotel charged me more for the room i booked saying they had this issue with Booking.com ongoing. I was charged more by the hotel to obtain the room i booked than what they told me and now trying to get it corrected… waiting for call back from the hotel. Not had this issue with previous bookings.com business … which i told the hotel. Would not go back to this hotel for this reason.
Proximity to the University… reason for my trip
Hotel did not honor the booking i made through Booking.com. Told me i would need to pay extra for the room i booked through Booking .com… The hotel said this was an ongoing issue… could not answer me when i said then why was it not fixed… why does the customer have to negatively impacted by this issue. Told the hotel they were the first hotel i ever had the issue with … suggesting it was a hotel issue.

Very comfortable and was pleased with our stay. Breakfast was good and would stay here again.
