Title: Not recommended for tattooed travelers - Inflexible and outdated
"I strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you have tattoos. Despite being a major chain catering to international tourists, their policy is extremely rigid and outdated. They only allow access to the public bath if you can cover your tattoos with a maximum of two patches. If you have more, they simply deny you access with zero flexibility or hospitality. The staff's attitude regarding this was quite disappointing. As a foreign tourist, this feels like a lack of respect for other cultures. I will not be staying at any APA Hotel again.
Very convenient area close to the subway. Staff were super customer service and went over and above what i would expect. I left my laptop in a cab and staff helped me phone the police department to confirm that the in fact had it before I made my way down to pick it up. All this was in japanese as english is my first language.
Near the subway but far from both dotonbori and Umeda so had to rely on it.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable.
Spa is ok but tiny
The room was the smallest I’ve ever been in and I paid the most for the entire trip. Totally not worth it
Could not contact the hotel, even after email and going thrkugh expedia. Nothing. Terrible customer service...booked and paid for a room, but expedia booked the wrong day. Immediately attempted to rectify and there was zero assistance given. I will never book with APA again.
Standard APA Hotel; however, the single room is smaller than the single rooms in Kobe and Himeji. Cleanliness is good and provided ammenities are good as well. Perfect for solo travelers and duo travelers (packing light).
ok
The staff were nice, and spoke relatively decent English, which made it easier to communicate (which was much appreciated). However, the room that we were set up in smelt horribly of cigarette smoke, and the only way we could get rid of it was by running the air conditioning for a very long time. Overall, the building was very nice, but our room, I don’t know about other rooms. But our room was not nice.
Decent hotel stay. Not enough dining options very close by, so you’ll need to walk up close to Umeda, but it’s not an issue. Staff were kind, it’s APA, so you get what you pay for.
The hotel rooms was extremely small. There was no room to move about and the bathrooms are tiny little capsules. The check in process was long and unnecessary with staff just watching you struggle
Booked this lodging pretty late, but enjoyed staying at this chain. The location was surprisingly convenient as it was really close to the metro entrance. The area was relatively quiet, but really accessible to the touristy areas of the city. Comfy rooms overall. A nice stay that is easy to travel from.
I try to stay at APA hotels while in Japan as they are always clean and safe and the staff are always polite and professional. This hotel is near restaurants and convenience stores and the Tokyo metro is connected to the hotel so it’s easy to get around. The ramen place across the road is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel to stay at when visiting Osaka.
It was a very large hotel with many amenities.
Absolutely fantastic team and tremendously helpful
Close to subway. The room is clean and compact which is typical in Japan.
friendly staff,
verzorgd hotel, lekkere maaltijden
Very modern. Great staff. 6 or more at reception and front desk to help check in and answer questions n
Good locations and excellent staff.
Very good
Except just the location close to the subway, some other facilities are quite lower than normal, but the prices are so high. Rooms are quite narrow space even for a single person.
Great Location. Really good ramen shop in front of the hotel.
