Whispering Palms Suite

Can't fault this place. The condos are decent, clean and quiet. All amenities are here and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have washing machines and will arrange all you need (scooter or hire car) for no more than you pay elsewhere.

Also their beds and pillows are very comfortable 😌

You need a scooter on Koh Samui to get the best of the Island.

I absolutely loved my stay at Whispering Palms.

The location was nice for the second portion of my visit to Koh Samui: a short scooter drive outside of the Chaweng Beach night life area and a good starting base for scooter rides to other areas of the island. The property and surrounding area were quiet and peaceful throughout the days and in the evening, making for a great location to relax after a full day of exploring the island.

The hotel's amenities include a gym, two swimming pools, a pool table, a sauna and a steam room. All of the amenities were kept clean and in working order by the staff at the property.

The room was large and VERY comfortable. It was a suite with a large bathroom, a kitchen with a refrigerator and dishes, a living room with a couch and table, and a bedroom with a king size bed. There were plenty of closets and other storage spaces. There was also a balcony overlooking one of the swimming pools. Housekeeping cleaned the room and washed the dishes every day. The air conditioning unit was quiet and kept the room as chilly as I wanted it.

Scooters can be easily rented on-site.

Should I return to Koh Samui, I will definitely stay at Whispering Palms again.

Pros:

1. Very neat & tidy, with well-manicured greenery & clean pools
2. Very spacious rooms with sufficient amenities
3. Good house-keeping

Cons:

1. Miles away from the beach or anywhere for that matter, prepare to shell out 300THB for travelling by taxi to Chaweng or Bophut beach.
2. Ridiculous COMPULSORY200THB/ day cleaning charges.
3. Very basic breakfast comprising fruits, eggs, sausages, meat-cakes with rice/ noodles and juice EVERYDAY with no variation.
4. Not particularly advisable to stay out of the hotel after dark since the surrounding area is so desolate.

Hotel definitely looked nothing like the photos, room dark and dated, miles from anywhere, one pool out of service. Checked in and checked out. Staff pleasant but no refund or partial refund offered. We are not fussy but the location of this is awful unless you have a bike

I have been to Whispering palms 7 out of the 8 times I have been to Samui. The one time I didnt stay there, I still regret it. Steve, the Manager and his staff are great. Ask and you shall receive. The rooms have been exceptionally maintained thru the years. Rooms are big. Shower is hot. Aircon is cold. Good selection of TV channels. Good size fridge to stock up. Kitchen is just perfect. This place is a must stay. Value for money. I have no complaints but compliments.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Pool was clean. The only complaint would be the charging of a cleaning fee, 200 bht per day, at check in, whether you wish your room to be cleaned every day or not. Also the hotel is a little way from any sort of attractions. Breakfast is very bland and limited.

Great little spot with everything we needed for just a night in Samui. Free breakfast was bland so we went out to eat nearby. Otherwise great spot!

I have recently stayed here for 25 days the rooms are really spacious but what you are not told until you arrive is that you have to pay for your room to be cleaned if you don't pay they don't clean. The breakfast room is very small and can only seat about 24 people so you may have to wait.The 2 swimming pools are very clean and are well maintained the staff are very good and can help you with most things we found the security man Chi very good a really friendly guy transport is provided into Chaweng 4 times a day but you have to make your own way back.Agood tip is don't pay more than 200 baht for a taxi.

Great service from the staff and the management. 4 km from beach but the hotel is offering 4 times a day a free taxi, great service. Bed room was big and bed comfortable. There is a kitchen and living room is big. Direct pool access from the room. Washing machine available.

Hotel was ok didn’t have any hot water till last two days of the holiday I don’t think I would return back to this hotel

Chambres spacieuses et propres. Le ménage est quotidien et très bien fait. Le personnel est souriant et serviable.
Allez y les yeux fermés. Le wifi est un peu faible c est e seul inconvénient

Can't fault this condo at all,
Had an issue with the shower and after a few hours they moved me to another room.
Rooms very spacious and bright.
Will be going back in April this year without a doubt.
Staff are friendly and speak good English.
One thing I recommend is you put anti bacteria spray and tissue in the fitness room for the equipment to be cleaned by the user after use.

Good hospitality. There are always hotelemployees to help and inform.
Luxureus suites, fully equiped.
Large outdoor swimming pool.
Free shuttle to beach and other destinations.
Everything is kept very proper.

Great place, specially for the price, good location, complete kitchen, clean an comfortable. The pool is nice, the staff is very nice, but there is no reception.
The shower is very good, it only takes a little time to warm, but other than that is one of the best showers I've used in thailand.
The location is a good " not too close, not too far" so I highly recommend renting an motorcycle or a car, because the taxis in koh samui costs at least 400 bath the way. The breakfast is really good also.

Me and my husband recently stayed here for 7 nights. Upon arrival the staff were very helpful and friendly, the security staff organised the hire of a scooter and even put fuel in it for us so we didn’t have to mess about.
The actual room you get for the price you pay is incredible! It’s one large room with a living room sectioned off and a small kitchen also. It was a very nice room really clean and nice decoration/furniture. The WiFi is free however it can be sometimes hard to connect depending on the weather it just takes a few times of logging into and out of it.
The pool is great and a lot larger than you would normally get in a hotel , it was clean and it was a nice place to sit around when sunbathing.
The location of the hotel was good it’s on a quiet road which can be a good thing! But once you’re off the quiet road it gets busier.
I would highly recommend to hire a scooter out to get round the island me and my husband did a lot of activities and sight seeing and also at a fraction of the price of taxis. The hotel can arrange hire and it only costs 200 baht per day.
Overall I would highly recommend stopping here you won’t be disappointed!!
