Much improved following rebranding and refurbishment
Pros:

Much improved following rebranding and refurbishment. This was our 3rd stay at this hotel and after an excellent 1st visit it had declined significantly following COVID. Family members living locally joined us for an evening meal which was excellent.

Pros:

Location good for Cannons Hall Farm

Cons:

No air conditioning in rooms which were unbearable. Breakfast vastly overpriced and too rushed ( plated up and kept in oven for some time).

A great stay, very clean room and helpful, friendly staff. Food was good, would stay again
Pros:

Staff were brilliant, they couldn't do enough for us. We had breakfast and evening meal which was great and the rest restaurant was open late too.

Cons:

The room was very hot, but to be fair, it was during a heat wave and the staff helped as much as possible.

Highly recommend & will be back
Pros:

We love the decor both in the room and the bar/restaurant. The room was spotlessly clean and very modern. The staff were very helpful. Lots of free parking. A great place.

Cons:

No air conditioning or nets on the curtains so you couldn’t open the curtain without being seen into. Small portable room fan which was useless. No kettle or water. Was in a premium room but Ibis offer better facilities

Modern hotel, with good facilities
Pros:

Nice modern, well furnished hotel, great facilities, clean rooms, good size bathroom. Lovely bar area, good, generous breakfast.

Cons:

Despite having a fan, the room was far too hot, windows opened slightly, but had to close curtains, due to facing car park, for privacy.

Great value for money, comfortable beds
Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean space, comfortable bed. Location perfect for my needs.

Cons:

I stayed June 24-26… aka 36°… so the lack of a/c was a real disappointment… normally of course it wouldn’t be an issue, but bear it in mind if you want a room with a/c

A beautiful hotel stay at a very competitive price
Pros:

A very nice place to stay. Big and modern room, bar and restaurant on site and really conveniently located for M1 motorway.

Cons:

The room had a cooling fan, but with the extremely hot weather during our stay it was still very hot.

The breakfast wasn’t great, no pastries and the coffee poor wouldn’t book breakfast again
But the Steak & Ale pie was unreal the best ever!
