Our original room had not been cleaned, dirty cups, bed nit changed and all the dirty towels still on the floor jn bathroom

Location was good, outdoor courtyard for drinks is great and the food in the restaurant was delicious and top quality.
The room did not have air conditioners, only a desk fan and it is was a very warm night. We had the window open too, but it didn’t help. Otherwise than this it is a great hotel.

The location of my room i had a roof blocking my whole window that was the only thing I could see
The hotel was fine
The problem was the noise - banging / scraping - through the night. Couldn't determine what was causing the noise - pigeons, rats, squirrels, people???? It ruined my nights sleep. I was in room 16. I will not be recommending you.

We arrived for breakfast at 09:10 to be told the continental option was finished. We could have cooked breakfast only. We were offered nothing to drink, when I asked I was told we needed to pay on what was the hottest day of the year. When I objected as I had a child the waitress reluctantly went to speak to a manager. Ten mins later she returned and said we could have one glass of juice only. Her attitude was appalling.

Breakfast fine, cooked plus the usual buffet bar. Kettle in the room always useful.Plenty of hot water. Located just a mile from the motorway on one side, and adjacent to good Yorkshire countryside o n the other side. The Trans-Pennine Trail runs nearby for cyclists . There is a bank of 300kw chargers right there in the Car Park, a feature that Hotels as destinations should be having, and most still don.
The room was hot. But considering it was hottest day of the year, that's no real surprise. Probably if hot Summers continue, then air conditioning will become necessary.
