Une nuitée formidable
Pros:

L'emplacement de l'hôtel dans un bon quartier proche de " Ateneul Roman" (salle de concert) et du musée national d'Art
L'accueil à la réception. La disponibilité et la qualité du service (réservation d'une table au restaurant).
L'employée est polyglotte (français, anglais, allemand).
Moyennant un supplément, nous avons pu garer notre voiture de location en toute sécurité.

Le cadre intérieur est magnifique, pour qui aime les matériaux nobles (bois, marbre) et une décoration soignée
Le buffet petit déjeuner est très bien fourni.

We definitely recommend Scala! Breakfast was awesome as well!
Pros:

Everything was awesome! The place is just as we love, full of really neat old items, woodwork, furniture and you name it. Ouna was just fantastic, gave us great advice, helped with our needs, and just a super person to work with! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Cons:

Had no idea where to park, but a simple phone call, and we were set!

Lovely hotel and staff
Pros:

Premium rooms were large and so was the bathroom. Breakfast buffet was nice and you could ask for a cappuccino or an omelette to be made.

Cons:

Older travellers would need to be mindful of the stairs (there is no lift) and the shower may be over the bath. They have two ground floor rooms though. Not sure that Booking.com makes that obvious or gives the option of an accessible room. It would certainly help if you could choose a ground floor room when booking.

Pros:

Hotelul are o atmosferă boemă, exact ceea ce ne-am dorit, personal amabil și competent, locația excelentă.

Cons:

La micul-dejun ne-au lipsit produse românești (cârnați în loc de crenvurști, salamuri), sâmbătă și duminică pâine a fost cam veche.

Lovely historic interiors
Pros:

Quirky historic hotel, 20 mins walk from town centre. Loved the interior decor,especially in communal areas. Over the road from a coffee shop and very near a supermarket- super handy!

Cons:

It was just a little bit formal as a setting for our tastes- a more relaxed vibe would have suited us. I didn't like not having tea / coffee facilities in the room

Magical experience! It felt like going back in time!
Pros:

The care with which this property was restored is impressive! From furniture to window treatments to decor—all was carefully selected and displayed. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

Unfortunately, being a restored 19th-century building, there is no elevator.
