The twin room was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom felt very luxurious. Staff were super friendly, especially when we asked for ice and a spare charger at 10pm after I arrived that evening. They also offered to hold our bags after checkout if we wanted to explore the city and our flight/mode of transport was later on in the day. Had the best croissants I've ever seen at breakfast. Also having multiple decaf pods for the coffee maker was a major plus for us. Its outside the city centre but very accessible by buses or even walking if you wanted the fresh air.
I liked the breakfast, but I don't know if I would include it in my booking next time, so I have options in future.
Excellent stay at a lovely hotel, so comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and everything of a very high quality. Staff were so friendly and helpful, a pleasure to stay here!

Staff are super friendly. The room and facilities are of a high standard. The breakfast was amazing. Great location. I travelled with two dogs and the hotel is super dog friendly. The staff gave a great welcome to the dogs. Thanks to Shannon for being super helpful.
Comfort, good staff, excellent breakfast. Dinner on one night was very good.
Only two things. First,no hanging space and secondly little storage for clothes.
Lovely setting on the University of Edinburgh campus and on the edge of Holyrood Park with a view of Arthur’s Seat, the remains of an ancient extinct volcano. The walk to the Old City is doable—the uphill part is on the return to the hotel. There is a city bus stop conveniently located near the hotel—Commonwealth, with service to the old and new city on buses 30 and 33 (that’s what I learned, and using the buses was easy).
During the night occasional sounds from students passing by, but it’s quieter no doubt than being on a city street.
Colazione eccellente buona e abbondante, pietanze cucinate al momento.
La mancanza del bidè in bagno
The room was large, comfortable, and luxurious and much better than expected. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. The location was great for Holyrood Park or the Commonwealth Pool (next door) or, if you are up for it, a 25-min walk to Princes Street, which was basically a simple straight line. Breakfast was very good, although portions were on the small side.

Staff were very friendly, good value for money, great breakfast and well presented lounges.
Bathroom shower had a glass wall that was too small so the floor of the bathroom always got wet.
Close to centre, secure and well appointed, great breakfast, comfortable room welcoming staff.

Great staff, great breakfast, great location right next to Arthur’s seat and bus stops.
Rooms were quite small, no storage space for clothing, windows not very robust
I love staying at this hotel! The location is phenomenal, right next to Holyrood Park, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Also convenient to several bus lines.
Since this hotel is at a university, there can sometimes be loud people walking by, but it wasn't too bad.
