Great location for those who are just in town for a day or two.
Pros:

Location is excellence since it is near the train station, and Karuizawa Prince Shopping area. Stores and restaurants are nearby for you to experience. Peaceful area, no noise, and easy commute to other parts of town.

Cons:

Kyu Karuizawa is a bit of a walk, probably around 30 minutes or so. To go there, you'd have to take a bus, or a taxi, which are easily available. Just make sure to go early for the bus since it tends to be full.
