I always prefer APA when travel Japan. Simple, convenient, economic and good for solo travel especially. Amazing VOD are free.
Very close to train station. Street cars were awesome to use to get around. Accomodating staff and very helpful
Staff were excellent but building is just old.
It was convenient to be near the Hiroshima Station, but the hotel and room was bit too old.
The room was compact. Not much space for hanging dresses. Night dress availability is praiseworthy
- Staff is very friendly and helpful. They are able to speak English so communicating isn’t a problem!
- I love the distance from Hotel to Station as it is a very very short walk! It’s close to Hiroshima station, so perfect if you need to take Shinkansen.
- Unfortunately, this is where my partner and I were both not pleased: The building and the room are very murky/gloomy/old. The AC isn’t working so it was a struggle to relax and even sleep at night. The windows and walls are very thin, you could hear people walking by, talking despite not being loud, cars passing by, and even ambulance/emergency sirens. It was ridiculous. Hotel is close to the main road, so I guess sirens can be heard, but I was dreading to leave the hotel as sirens pass by every 20 minutes past midnight. Room is also very small, and the bathroom is just poor.
- To be completely honest, we just couldn’t wait to get out of there. I’m super sorry, but will rate this hotel 2/5, and that’s me being generous.
Overall, basic standards of what I expected from APA Hotel, however the shower need a better curtain. Every time I got off the shower, floor was always wet from the water spilling outside the tub.
Compared to other APA hotels, the building itself is old.
The rooms were not clean. There was some floating white dust in the room. Not sure what it was. But the location is awesome and close to the train and bus station in Hiroshima.
Good quality for the price
Near the street cars which covers all the sights without much fuss.
Very close to the subway station and bus stops.
Loved the convenience
Standards are high. Impressive.
Very good location. Clean room. Many restaurants around. Highly recommend.
Having stayed in a few similar hotels near train stations in Japan, I found the rooms here just a bit smaller and not in quite as good condition as others (peeling wallpaper, windows won't open more than an inch, air conditioning not working). Staff were warm, friendly and welcoming, but I would not stay here again unless there was a renovation.
駅に近く駐車場も福屋百貨店が利用でき朝食もビュッフェでよかったです。
Location good staff good, property very old and worn out.
Worse APA Hotel I have stay in, and I have stayed in a few
The best factor was the location. The worst was its room space, too small. Other factors were Ok.
Located in a central area close to the train station
Great location. It's right by the station and it's close to Hondori. Room was clean. Only thing I didn't like was that the power outlet between the beds has an annoying piece that sticks out and because of it, I couldn't plug my phone charger into it because my power block was too big for it.
