Lovely stay
Pros:

Staff are always amazing. Fabulous grounds and a beautiful historic castle. The food in the restaurant was tasty and good value

Das Zimmer war herrlich und mit allem ausgestattet. Wir konnten uns das Schloss anschauen natürlich kommt man nicht in allen Bereichen

Cons:

Beim Abendessen im Restaurant gibt es nicht viel Auswahl und bei Sonderwünschen ist das Personal bzw die Küche unflexibel. Auch war das Essen sehr teuer. Genauso gut kann man auch in der Bar etwas essen. Hätten wir dies vorher gewusst wären wir gar nicht in das Restaurant gegangen. Trinkgeld wird auch automatisch berechnet aber das Personal erwartet dass man noch zusätzlich was gibt so war es bei uns und dies fand ich ein wenig unverschämt

Wonderful experience in a beautiful setting
Pros:

The whole experience at Lumley Castle was fantastic, from the quality of the bedding to the exceptional breakfast and warm reception. The best hotel experience I have had and I stay in hotels at least 20 times per year.

A comfortable bed , great food and in a beautiful setting.
Pros:

We were upgraded to a room in the castle which was lovely and comfortable. The staff are all cheerful and helpful, especially Lorraine at breakfast. The food was lovely too.nothing

Exquisite location and building, exceptional service and staff. Highly recommended.
Pros:

The food in the library was out of this world. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. The castle kept it's historic vibe which made it exquisite. There were seats everywhere, nooks to relax in and it always felt intimate and relaxed.

Cons:

Breakfast was nice, but found that some of the items were a little overcooked... but was fabulous quality.
