Pros:

The bed was super comfy.Nice elegant room with great touches.
The room and pub area were very clean.The cleaners were cleaning the interior doors upon arrival to breakfast.Would stay again.

Cons:

Could do with Coat hooks in the room and a tv.

Friday night stay at the Arundell Arms
Pros:

View from the bedroom over the gardens, suite was comfortable (but not a suite!), lovely drawing room, food very good (but very limited dinner menu), staff were friendly and helpful, accommodated us getting into our room earlier than 3pm check in,, easy to find from A30

Cons:

Suite was not really a suite, separate space with two uncomfy seats in it, no view either unlike the bedroom (seating area more like a dressing room space), the seating area was cold as was bathroom (needs double glazing), no restaurant on site which surprised us, residents/diners accommodated in bar area (?), not the experience we were expecting . . . Menu was tiny for dinner-4 starters, 4 mains (and one option was the obligatory burger, why, it is a fishing, hunting, shooting hotel)-again, with 21 rooms and residents potentially chosing to eat there it seemed a bit off, missing a trick here, and the food we had was very, very good. Also disappointed that cafe was shut-refurbishment- we had not booked breakfast but would have grabbed something but ended up at Strawberry Fields just down the road for food before our journey home. It could be a really good place to stay, but some elements in place but others not, so for us it did not work.

A very special hotel
Pros:

The comfortable beds and large bedroom were great. The breakfast choices, service and quality of the good were super. The dinner choices, prices and bar service was excellent.

A comfortable stay.
Pros:

Lovely big room nd comfy bed. Nice and warm.

Cons:

Difficulty turning on the shower and constant drip. Also the selection of meals on the dinner menu was limited and the same menu both days we stayed.

Friendly staff great room fantastic meal
