Nothing - Everything was perfect
I think this is possibly one of the best properties available, especially if you’re driving and willing to stay in Beatenberg. The property itself is wonderful, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the host.
He was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. What really stood out was that, completely on his own initiative and without us even asking, he brought halal food for us outside the regular menu. That level of thoughtfulness and hospitality is rare and made us feel genuinely cared for.
He also serves food grown on his own farm during breakfast, which made the experience even more special and authentic. The combination of the beautiful property, peaceful location, amazing hospitality, and personal touches made our overall experience truly exceptional. Highly recommended!
Exceptional hospitality and a beautiful Swiss escape and views.
We had a truly wonderful stay. The guest house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, peaceful, and perfectly located, only around 20 minutes from Interlaken, with an incredible view over Interlaken and the surrounding mountains. Far enough away from the crowds and busy tourist areas to feel completely peaceful, while still being very convenient for exploring the region.
The room was lovely, and I stayed in the James Bond room like they call it, because of its view towards the famous James Bond mountain.
The breakfast was delicious, with wonderful local touches. The homemade cheese was exceptional, but the real highlight for me was the panna cotta, absolutely unforgettable!
But above everything else, what makes this place special is the hospitality of Dani and Linda. They were incredibly warm, generous, attentive, and genuinely happy to make our stay special. They kept surprising us with thoughtful little gestures, gave us excellent tips for exploring the area, helped us whenever we needed anything, and even shared stories and history about Switzerland that made the experience much richer.
You can find beautiful places anywhere, but exceptional hospitality is rare. Dani and Linda made us feel welcomed and at home. Like they say it, we came as guests and left as friends.
We came for the beauty of Switzerland and Interlaken, but we left with memories of their kindness and warmth that we will always remember.

Les bruits d'eau des chambres annexes. Mais c'est souvent le cas dans des maisons anciennes.
